Author's Response: Hmmm... Well if you can't access PetulantPoetess, try AFF, or Whispers. It is there also. Pureblood is very picky about making sure all punctuation is perfect, and they only let you post two chapters at a time. I am currently waiting for them to check out the next chapter. I really liked it. I admit I find the Malfoy family fascinating. Since the name Malfoy means "bad faith" I think the idea that Lucius has please his trust in the worst possible source is a very good foundation for this story. Perhaps he will learn and grow from this tragedy. Please contine

I think this is a good start. I mean, honestly, how much do we really know about Lucius? It's completely plausible that the Dark Lord would underestimate his love of his family vs. his loyalty. In that case, what Voldemort did would have broken Lucius and I can see him reaching this point. Pray continue.
