Oh crap! Well, I knew it was Narcissa at least a chapter or so ago. Couldn't figure out why though until Draco's eyes watching Hermione was mentioned. Then I knew they were trapped. Well, I hope Hermione has the portkey that Harry sent her with her. That should help her escape from the death eaters. Beautiful and very sad so far. I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

Boy, oh boy, you have put everything into this story. A little humor with the soap and shampoo, not to mention sexual excitement. Of course, the angst of Lucius's guilt and grief. Then there is the supernatural with Narcissa and Draco's ghosts. Such great! Now the gliffhanger! Honestly, this is one of the best Malfoy stories I have read on this website. I would like to submit a more complete review but can't wait for the next installment. Please, keep up the great work.
Author's Response: You Flatter me! I am blushing... This story is just very special to my heart. I had been playing with the idea for some time before I ever started writing. Honestly, my problem was I just could not figure out how to slide Snape into a role such as this. Then it hit me, Lucius was the one that would better fit into this. I love Severus, but he just could not be as tortured as Lucius could. And with the reviews I have received, I know for sure that I made the right decision! Thank you so much for the wonderful words! They made my day!

Hmmm...not sure how you are/were being rude in your responses (I read your responses to other's reviews) unless the rudeness lies toward Pureblood itself. However, if Pureblood is really that picky about checking spelling errors and gramatical errors, I applaud them. I wish Ashwinder was that picky. It has run rampant with stories that have nothing but grammatical spelling errors and it is extremely frustrating to read stories like that!!! Anyway, I really like this story so far, and I do agree that it seems to be a mix of Phantom and Beauty & the Beast. However, lol, unlike Beauty and the Beast, I cannot see the "curse" being lifted at the end if she accepts him as he is and sees him for who he is in spite of what he looks like. Nonetheless, good story so far!

Wow! The plot really thickens. I like the idea that Lucius' guilt is holding the ghosts of his family in the real world. Very good idea...Now, I'm dying to find out who the mysterious Death Eater is. Don't keep us waiting too long. I'm sure the Lucius will be distraught by her disappearance, and if the others find out she's gone, I'm sure they'll blame Lucius. What a tangled web you weave. :)

Very nicely done. I like the pacing on this one. You are keeping the tension high, but not overdone. I also like the POVs that you are giving us. I think they are very believable. I like Lucius trying to come to terms with her feelings for him and vice versa, his grief and his sense of self-worth all at once. It's a complex thing to do. Keep up the good work and I hope someone beats him on the head to realize he has a good thing waiting for him if he takes the leap of faith.
Author's Response: I am soo glad you are liking it. I figured that to lose one's family would change anyone. It is such a betrayal that he suffers from the man he pledged his loyalty to, of course it would make him rethink the side he's on and why. There will be more to come... soon.
