I recognized this as originating from Chopin right away. (Was a little worried it was plagarized until I saw the author's note) Given how she lived her own life, I was always surprised at how defeated Chopin's heroines were (The Awakening, Story of an Hour, Desiree's Baby) Chopin is, however, one of the best descripitive writers, ever.
Deftly drawn, paralleling pureblood & squib to racial prejudices- not a ship, but wonderfully done.
Author's Response: ~sees double and smiles~ Thanks again.

Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean. :( For the "Story of the Hour," I was left, once again, with my mouth agape. How can a woman be THAT weak? LOL Thank you very much for your comments. :)

Interesting story.
Well, not enjoyed, but you know what I mean
I know what you mean and I did. Even if I can't find the exact word to express it.
Author's Response: Yep, I know what you mean indeed. Thanks for reading.

There's some brilliance in this piece. Also, for me, a little reality. Single mum is no fun! *Draws placard* warty xxx
Author's Response: Thanks, doll. I appreciate the kind words. :)
