yup i figured i called it correctly that theyd be sleeping together by this point. alas. but i was terribly amused at draco trying to do it as the novels shown.
holy crap- i feel as if i stepped into some bizarro land with tis chapter. talk about moving fast than super fast. im glad that at least at first herminoe was for a long engagement. but then the -would you get married today- bit. O__o hell i'd take that as a bad sign-id be all for a long engagenment especially with them both in high school. the only thing to change that-is what i assume is on that paper- that hg is pregnant. thats the only reason i can see for that rush. otherwise...everyone's lost thier minds.
“I felt the need to escort my son to a neighborhood such as this one." ^________^ yay lucius. "Draco, come meet your new in-laws, boy," ^____^ way to freak out the grangers. but ahhh, his appearence was much appreciated. and good on draco wearing a nightshirt while at the grangers.
geee draco, just cause its "just sex" to you doesnt mean it shouldnt have the power to hurt. dude, if i was hermione id be very slow to take things further with him, building the trust. it just makes it seem all the more likely that he'd cheat on her even if he loves her, but aparently not enough. and i wonder just how long hg is gonig to hold off sleeping with him..a week? glad to see them meeting the parents. especially looking foward to meeting the grangers. and geee dont go harping on lavender. she wasnt the one that was in a relationship.
uh yeah dracdo way to go. sure your hurt but that certainly wont prove that you want to have a serious relationship with her if at the first sign of trouble you run off to be withsomeone else. i know if i was hermione id be terribly wary, in addition to being hurt and not trusting.
*laughs* gee its like you have esp. you keep answering my questions right in the next chapter. ^___^ and gee hg already thinking of sleeping with him after one week? what happened to all your ideals? and you should listen to you own advice about being able to distinguish fact from fantasy.
“Good for you, Granger,” ^___^ good for you too, draco. makes me like you all the more. though dm and hg have to decide how far in intimacy their ruse couple have gotten to, so that they can act accordingly.
i like that ron went to pansy to seek the truth.im also glad that we was civil and so was she. and i like how she is still suspicious and well so is ron but for other reasons. and good they changed their story of when they got together. but man draco, telling your father that you are intending to marry hermione just may set another ball rolling that might be very difficult to escape from. afterall he wants to make good on the malfoy name again...think of the publicity... “Say nothing. I was wrong. I was just trying to get Weasley mad,” he said unapologetically. “Can’t resist.” teehee. and highly amused that he set up th show for snape. and ooh, having him asleep in her lap while she runs her fingers over his face and hair definely makes a nice picture of beleivability.
kinda disappointed harry is in on the secret already. tohugh i gues its best right from beginning so that he gets to act from the start on a different pov. I liked harry's thoguhts that the draco shed be acting with isnt the one he is. that actually is good advice. and harry dont you know that when someone is told not to fall for someone that they will? oooh nice job defending her draco to the point where ron apologized. i lso liked how draco told hermione to stick to her romantic notions about sex because they can be like that. "Why can't he be young and fair?" ^______^ what about fabio?
wow, hg and dm, way to dig yourselves into holes. especially draco with the -not a pureblood and want to marry business. though question: their created story was for this particular school year. how far into the year are they that theyd be able to supposedly have this deep relationship (enough to marry on draco's part)?
Hmm, I seem to have forgotten to review this after reading it. I plead the excuse that it was 1am when I finshed and was nearly falling asleep in my chair. But you could take that as I compliment because I stayed up to finish it! Wanted to see what happened so well done you!
I liked this story..I liked the hole they dug for themselves. It is very engaging...
The story was really, really nice! (I stayed up half of the night to finish it because I couldn't stop!) I liked how Draco didn't appreciate how Hermione seemed to be changing for his parents' sake in the end; that was really nice. And you deserve a price for 'most unlikely pairing' - Ron and Pansy was priceless in its own way!
Aw, that's sweet! A little quick on the 'my he's appealing' part perhaps - but hell, I like stories who get into the story. Looking forward to read more!!!
Wow..this is very well written...there is a more innocent, sincere tone to this story than the others I have been reading...there is almost a ccomradery tone to it...more accepting of the situation and the possibility of a gueniune friendship which is nice!! I know it will be mixed with that thrilling good girl/bad boy kind of intensity in the romance department. I think I have liked the intimate kindness to each other most...( I know one was in another chapter- Draco bringing out his cload to her) but in this chapter it was the snuggle on the couch. Her leaning over him, stroking his hair...it is SO peacefully innocent and endearing. But Draco is still abit of a mystery- it is hard to tell if he is being calculating ( the grab and snog in front of snape) or sincere.. I look forward to finding out..thank you!!
Very fun premise - I'm loving the story, but am confused about the common room - it's a common room for all four houses?
Author's Response: It is, yes. Well, it's a common room for all the older students, regardless of what house they were in (they are back at Hogwarts after the war is over and no longer underaged seventh years).
awwww! lovely story!! surprising how a deal leads to a marriage of love! Thank you you are great!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading. :)
What a wonderful ending...I just love fluff. Thanks for the great story; there aren't enough Hermione/Draco stories
Author's Response: I find they are hard to come by as well! Thank you. :)
Fluff is fun :). Draco may have had his claws trimmed, but Lucius was still his own scary self in this (restrained, but by no means tamed). And happy endings with goofy smiles and family love are always fun!
Author's Response: Thanks. I've always thought under Draco's "bad boy" exterior was a little softie. When book six showed him crying to a ghost in the girl's lav, I was like, "Ah ha!" Hahaha. I don't think he'll ever be as devious as dear old Lucius, which is a good thing, I think. :)
Fluffy endings can be quite good, I agree. I would never expect Hermione to completely change, but hey! the new style looks...erm, sounds...good. Great job, southern, I really enjoyed this one!
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I had fun when I wrote this (years back) and shipped DM/HG. I'm still working on another wip with them though. :) I appreciate the comments and support.
So cute - I love Romantic!Draco :)
Author's Response: Thanks!
That line "I don't have a prob. with you..." You nailed (my perseption of) Lucius perfectly. That's exactly something I coudl see him saying to his son!
Author's Response: Grin. T hank you!
oh, too cute. i look forward to more.
Author's Response: Thanks. :)
I absolutely love this story =]
It's so sweet, and the 'Draco/Hermione' relationship is perfect.
When is the next chapter being released?
Author's Response: Thanks so very much. I'll upload it shortly.
I am properly amused – Draco getting pointers from trashy romance novels. I love it!
Jade
Author's Response: Teehee. Thank you
