I continue to be impressed by the clarity and maturity of your world-view. Thank you.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. What a nice thing to say!
I really thought he was dead. More chapters! Yay!
Author's Response: In know. I toy with my readers. I'm evil. :D
Ah, you're a cruel person. I really thought he was dead. But I'm excited about the happy ending. Maybe just a few more chapters to give Remus and Severus time to learn to get along?
Author's Response: Four chapters and an epilog left to go. We still have to get Snape out of hot water with Voldy, get Remus and Ro married and a few other things. It's all fluffy and fun from here on out.
Yay! Severus!! Knew he had it in him. Wedding! Wedding! Yay!
Author's Response: And he did it because it was the right thing to do, not to make Dumbledore happy. Go Severus!
This is a horrible, nasty, evil cliff-hanger - you torturer!!!
Really excellent story. If you can't post two chapter at once, couldn't you at least make your chapters even longer - maybe ten times longer.
Author's Response: Chapter 38 was long enough to be two chapters. I hope that helps!
Nice cliffhanger.
Author's Response: Last one. Honest. :D
Dude! They're really in it now!
Author's Response: Things do get a little sticky here, don't they?
Snape is going to confess, isn't he. I just know it.
Author's Response: We shall see. BTW, you did a great job with Rosemary in your fic. Poor Severus! Poor Hufflepuff!
Oh the torture!!! Tomorrow can't come soon enough...
Author's Response: At least you don't have to wait a week!
Well, that almost solves it, doesn't it? Dumbledore will tell him the whole world rests on the outcome of this trial, and it won't be up to Snape's courage, only his sense of debt to Dumbledore, which we know already is quite pronounced. Very clever. Good thing Lucius is such a self-important, gloating ego-maniac. Another nice chapter, though I could do with some action to go with all that thought. (I know, who am I to talk, most of my stuff is all thought!)
Author's Response: ~Author laughs maniacally~ Not exactly. Wait until tomorrow. I've got a few more twists up my sleeve. I agree with you that a little more action would have been great. It would just take a better author than me to pull it off. I couldn't figure a way to do it with Severus lying in an infirmary bed. Don't worry. Plent of good action coming up. At least I hope it's good!
Once again, a wonderful chapter! You had my heart jumping there for a minute =P
I must say, I'm quite intrigued by the beginning of your fic. You've written a wonderful opening to what I percieve will be a beautiful story. I suppose all I have to do now is read the rest, and believe me, that will be a pleasure! Wonderful job!
You are a master of pulling on emotions. And quite evil at that. You give us bits of wonderful writings and leave us to suffer yet again. (Of course I would also like to thank you for updating frequently Longer waits would be quite torturous.) But I'll miss you when it ends. This story is the first place I look when I turn on my computer. ~whispering~ You couldn't find it in your heart to maybe post 2 chapters at once? Nah. I didn't think so. But I had to try. ~sigh~ Until tomorrow ...
superbly written, nice exploration of Snape's head and inner workings. The chapter before was heart-rending. I was especially touched when Lupin finally was overwhelmed by sorrow. Thanks so much.
okay. what do you have up your sleeve. I hope Severus gets a conscience. Please?
Waaaaaaah! Oh man that was sad! And so well done. This is the kind of story that you might want a happy ending to, but it's so well written you couldn't help but respect (and admire) an unhappy one. Can't wait for tomorrow!
Wow, he must have some drive to be able to... ahem... you know, hours from his execution.
Author's Response: Well, he does. ~wink~ But in this case it's more about the intimacy than the sex. That's why I wrote a lime instead of a lemon, to concentrate on the emotions rather than the act itself. ~sigh~ He loves her and she loves him right back. They're clinging to each other for support in the most intimate way possible.
wahh!! *is literally crying*
If this story doesn't end up happy, I'm SO going to be miserable all week. That said, your writing is fantastic, and I know that even if there is an unhappy ending, it will still in a way be worth it.
oh gosh, that was aching. *whimper* I hate to think i have to wait until tomorrow to hear the rest...
Aaaaahhhh!! What will happen??!! Arrgghhh... Sorry I'm not coherent, but damn the suspense is killer! Great chapter, a sense of both extreme stress and peace at the end is achieved. How will this go?
Oh, no!!! I really don't see a way out of this one in time, not with the trial the next day! It'll take a while for Rosemary's plan with the shop to work -- after all, economic deprivation takes a while to set in. How are they going to get out of this?
Author's Response: There is also a bit of a revenge motive in her actions. Rosemary is not always a nice and reasonable woman.
What's wrong with jelly beans for lunch? Absolultely nothing, I say. Great chapter!
I loved that he visited her when she wasn't home....needing to be near her things if he couldn't be near her. Beautiful chapter.
I just found this to be very sad. Remus, Remus, Remus...
Severus felt certain that the only virtues Lupin could appreciate were her big tits and her big bank account. Great line!
