One of the best pieces on Lockhart I've read. Intriguing little picture, too, of the end of the wizarding world in Britain. You never give us more than the hint, and it's all the more poignant because of Lockhart being such a damaged specimen himself. Thanks for your work.
That was intense. I love how you go from the detail - Lockhart - to the global picture, it makes the story many times more poignant.

I think that this piece of angst as being one the best that there is, and that it is Lockhart makes it that much more poignant.
Author's Response: Wow, thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it.
Usually, I am one to poke fun at Gilderoy Lockheart and just exploit is lack of intellegence, but I've never thought to use him this way. I actually feel bad for him here. Wonderful job!
Author's Response: Thanks!
Wow. I'm stunned. I was expecting something light and silly, seeing as it's a Lockhard piece, but this was really something special. Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! So glad Lockhard worked for you in a non-silly piece.
Tragic, and nicely written.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. This means a lot to me, as I am a faithful reader of "The Summoning".
