Author's Response: *smiles* Thanks, winna! I personally would love to do a A/M story from Grindelwald's era someday, and who knows? Perhaps I will. But to hold you over, there are several stories over at www.fanfiction.net that stem from that time. And there are some really good ones! I recommend Freelancer's stories, as well as Aurinko, just to name a few off the top of my head. Again, thanks for the review! :)

Darling, this is truly, truly beautiful. Many of us can relate to Minerva's feelings of... inadequacy... or being damaged goods. Your Albus was so sensitive to her feelings, and he knew exactly what she needed. A touching story. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I did my best to convey Minerva's feelings on the matter, the blow to her pride, all the feelings that went even deeper, and how that bled over into her relationships with her friends and, even more so, with Albus. But of course, he began to understand that she had forgotten something she had taught to him so many years before in the aftermath of another devestating war. And what better way to remind her than through one of the most joyous days of their lives? Again, thanks so much for reviewing! :)

AQ! This is absolutely wonderful! I particularly liked Minerva's turning inward and isolating herself from everyone, and how it materially affected Albus. And that even in his hurt he knew, finally, how to reach out and heal her. I even had to get a tissue!

I've enjoyed reading about this pairing - and getting hints of it in many stories over at Ashwinder has always warmed my heart - and now I finally found the courage to delve into it myself.
