What a very tough decision. You took us through a thought process whose decision could have easily gone either way. Wow..... I'm so glad Blaise decided to go for love rather than what his parents wished. Impressive story, Bambu. I liked it a lot!!!

Author's Response: You're so right, cerridwen, Blaise could have made the choice either way because, regardless of his choice, someone in his life loses. Thank you for enjoying it and letting me know.

*sob* Oh my... that was beautiful, Bambu! Absolutely stunning! Terribly sorry I took so long to review, I'd read it, but then got called away before I could respond. Things continued on from there. The conflict for Blaise was so touching. Sometimes I think many fans forget just what might be behind the "Junior Death Eaters'" choices when they choose to side with Old Snakehead. Family means a lot to them, just as much as it does to people like the Weasleys, or even Harry himself. Some of them just don't have the strength to turn their backs on the path their parents have laid out for them, to leave their families behind. But I'm glad Blaise found strength in his love for Hermione... *smiles sadly* Again, beautiful story, hon. Amazing.

Author's Response: You're as perceptive as ever, AQ. It actually started with the first phrase from the song which made me wonder if the attraction could be something that Blaise was trying to resist... and then why would he resist. I completely agree with you in regard to many of the younger generation of Death Eaters. Thanks, as always.

Ah, first love, true love! I remember it well... First song fic I've read - well done! I've always liked that Beatles' song, very romantic; as is your story!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, SeaIsleWitch, for your lovely review. I'm a bit honored that you read my first attempt at a songfic for your first time...

Wow, I'm blushing. You read a songfic because I wrote it? Thank you, thank you. I've never written one before, and may never do so again, but this just popped out. An epilogue... I'll throw it out to my collective subconscious and see what happens. Thanks for reading it... and thanks for enjoying it.

Author's Response: I should never read without my contacts in... This is in response to Winna's review... I hit the wrong section, and am occasionally an idiot.

Normally, I don't read songfics, since they're typically based on music I've never heard of (Darn these kids and their new-fangled rap songs! You call that music?). But then I see this is a *Bambu* songfic, and a Beatles song to boot, so I figure it's worth a shot. Of course, I am not disappointed. Very nice, a good mixture of bitter & sweet. Although this can certainly stand alone, please feel free to write a sequel about the consequences of Blaise's choice...

Author's Response: I actually responded by leaving another review (I'm an idiot!). But, here paraphrased (you can read the original as the second review) is my response. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you... and I'll think about writing an epilogue. I've never written any Blaise/Hermione fluff... maybe I'll have to do that.
