I know you haven't updated in ages, but I just found this story and wanted to tell you how much I adore it, it's lovely :) please update if you possibly can!
Author's Response: I'd love to update and actually the story's ready and done. Problem only is: I don't have a beta reader in the moment. So I'm stuck - sorry!
Now, it's gonna get interesting. More soon please. Truly
Good to hear that you will submit a new chapter soon! I'm really looking foreward to it! *jumps around excited* :)
Author's Response: I'm so sorry, but I have to admit: It will need some time until the next chapter of this story will come up. My first beta-reader is in the moment very busy with her real life and the second one is working on "Measure for Measure". I hope, she'll do "As she likes it" next, but it won't be tomorrow.
Please, please continue with this story. It looks like it's been a little while. I hope you haven't dropped it!!!
Author's Response: No, I didn't drop it. Only my first beta-reader got very busy with real life and therefore couldn't work on the story anymore. Now I've got a new beta-reader, but she's still busy with "Measure for Measure". I hope she'll do this story when she's ready with the other one.
Where is your update????
Pleeeeeeaaaaase! Don#t keep us waiting too long. This is such a great story!!!!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm glad you like the story. Unfortunately it will need some time until the next update will be there. The story is actually finished, but my poor beta-reader is in the moment busy with "Measure for Measure". If she's done with that story, she'll (hopefully) work on this.
Sorry - I don't like making my readers wait, but sometimes I can't change it.
I would expect nothing less of Hermione Granger than an organized, methodical approach to this problem. I look forward to seeing how she discovers the joys of disorganization. ;)
Huh. I've never considered a Hermione/Albus ship before, but you make a good case for it. It's an intriguing story and I'm looking forward to updates. Wonder how Albus will react to Hermione's oh so logical reasons for fathering a child; and how, exactly, does one start a conversation like that? This should be interesting...
*falls off of chair* She's going to do it! Woo! :D And now she begins the long, winding road to love! :) Wonderful chapter, Max! :)
Author's Response: *helps AngelQueen up on her chair and pats her affectionately* I'm glad you like the story so far - and you're right: Hermione's decision will make for a long, winding road to love!
Hermione is funny *ggg*!!!! I love it and need more ;o))
Author's Response: You'll get more soon, darling. The beta-readers are already working hard. ;-)
Your stories are a trip down memory lane for me. When I was sixteen, I had this terrible crush on a man that was seventy. Yes, seventy. We did community theatre together. He was very much like you write Dumbledore, tall, slender, strong, graceful. He taught me to dance; we would waltz in wings under the exit lights. He would tease me by saying if he was fifty years younger he would have to speak to my father. Nothing physical happened, no silly talk of emotions. We just danced and smiled. At his funeral, his wife told me that I brought the boy back out of him. Everytime I smell clove cigarettes or cherry pipe tobacco I smile.
Author's Response: Sorry for answering so late, but I was a bit sick the last days ...
Your story touched me because ... well, I was fifteen as I developed a crush on the violinist Sir Yehudi Menuhin (who was around 70 at this time too). I only once met him personally, but that was enough for dreaming from him for months! So I understand very well how you felt and how you remember this wonderful little story now. And it's great that his wife wasn't jealous, but granted him this sweet, little story.
And I'm of course glad that you like my story!
Oh my... wonderful first chapter, Max! :) I love the way you've had Hermione and Albus' relationship grow! Excellent work! :)
