Really excellent! I think readers (especially kids) don't think how hard it would be to send a child to boarding school, even under the best of circumstances. I have often wished to see more of the Grangers. HOwever, it is traditional in Children's Lit to get rid of the parents, even if only temporarily, so the protagonists may have adventures. Enter fanfics! Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Very sweet. As a mom, I can appreciate the concerns and worries one has for their child when you cannot save them yourself but must rely on their abilities and fate. It is a bittersweet emotion of pride and fear. Thank you for sharing this.
