Author's Response: Oh good; I'm no expert at writing this sort of mystery style, so I'm glad the scariness is coming across. I did want this to encourage readers to think a bit differently about Remus, while still keeping him plausibly "in character." Thanks so much for your comments!

Interesting twist to the ending! I was wondering if you would wrap this up so it would fit in with canon (albiet in a strange way) but it looks like I guessed wrong. Ah well, I anxiously await the next Act!
Author's Response: Ahaha! Guessed wrong, you think? Not necessarily. :) I actually had to be dragged to this AU label kicking and screaming, because in my head, there isn't anything here that couldn't be explained with canon. You'll have to wait till Act 5 to be the judge. It certainly tips canon on its head, but I'm not deliberately trying to contradict it, if that makes sense. Glad you're still enjoying it! (And who else could have been Bianca?!) Thanks for the review. :)

I am scared, thrilled and interested. Most of all, interested. I like it how you twist our perceptions of canon characters here. And, as it's AU, I have no problems whatsoever with your characterisation. It's refreshing to see such a story. The only thing that rasps for me is Lily's behavious - not in the term of your writing, but the female behaviour. I feel strongly about women who stay with abusive partners. IO feel like shaking them until they come to their senses ;)
