Wow, still going strong. The talk between Snape and Lily was especially heart-wrenching. It make sense, especially from what we saw in OoP, that Snape would have seen this before and doesn't want to see history repeat itself--very insightful! Beautiful way to explain his motivations.

Author's Response: Thanks! That scene was actually written months and months and months ago - long before I realised that abused!Snape is pretty cliche in fanfic. But, it worked here, so I kept it. I thought it would be a powerful incentive for him to help Lily - I'm glad that came across. Thanks for sticking with this, and for another nice review! :)
