Said I wasn't going to start any more unfinished tales, but I got curious when I saw your note at Pensieve. (BTW Max or Rocky will doubtless move your link to the fanfic page unless the prohibition against anything beyond PG 13 is enforced.)
Nice set up. I like your portrayal of Bel. Crazy and sadistic as ever, in a semi-calculating sort of way. Can't wait for your explaination of how she got in. The dirty kitchen seemed just what they should have found after so long.

As for Bellatrix getting into Grimmauld Place, this is my take - Being a Black she would already know where the Black family home was located. She wasn't seeking the headquarters of the OOTP, so the issue of secret keeping doesn't come into it. And now that Dumbledore is dead I'm not sure getting into Grimmauld Place is as much of an issue. We'll see if JK answers that question in the FAQ poll on her website. I'm presuming Bellatrix could have magiced her way in or Kreacher could have helped her out.
