Wow, its so nice to see it posted!!! You did a wonderful job with it, you wrote it exactly how I had imagined it! I love the way Sirius has flashbacks about James and Lily, rather than him just telling Harry about them. The ideas that you used for the flashbacks are great - I love the first one because it shows the "true" marauders - pulling a prank! And the second one was even better. I love fics about James and Lily's wedding and this one really shows the friendship between them all. I love how you included Peter also (and the image of Remus smiling brightly after being hit by the spell makes me laugh). The vows and speeches are wonderful and really sweet. I also like the interaction between Sirius and Harry. The dialogue is perfect and you really show the relationship between them wonderfully. I only wish JKR would have written something like this! I'm so glad you wrote it. I haven't heard from you in a while - you should email me sometime. See you around. Bibbs. (I didn't even know you had posted it yet, but sauerkraut_poet gave me a heads up) =)
Author's Response: I thought I had emailed you and let you know it was up. Odd. Hm, well, hotmail does tend to lose emails sometimes. Thanks for the review and I am SO glad it was what you were looking for in this idea. Thanks for giving me the idea. You're a dear!
Lovely. This is a new one, isn't it? Anyway, it was very sweet. You give such great insight into Sirius' character: "Azkaban isn't exactly a friendly place, so I'm not necessarily a friendly person anymore. But it's the memory of your mother and your father that kept me going all those years." I love how you contrast the angstiness of Sirius and Harry's loss with such lighthearted little scenes - it works beautifully! And to think that James wanted to get married on the Quidditch pitch, lol... love the humor. Another great story! =)
Author's Response: Wow... just when I was about to think that nobody liked my new story... and yes, this one is brand-spanking new. Thanks so much for the review. I'm glad you liked it. Granted, the majority of this was written pre-... well, you know. I finally finished it and this is the first story I've posted here that has never seen the light of day anywhere else.
