Life asserts itself, which is a good thing. This story is a good thing, too. Thank you for sharing it.

What a lovely story. I really liked your characterisation and the uncertainty that the death of Voldemort and the end of school would make these young people feel ~ sometimes we forget that they're still children because they live such fantastic lives and achieve greatness. I thought it was an original concept and was beautifully written, full of memories and hope for the future.

Very nice. I like your Ron very much. He's quite in character, and it's nice to see him portrayed as something other than either a short-fused numbskull or a goofy hanger-on, which he sometimes morphs into in some stories (both of which can be believably done, but I always feel a bit bad for poor Ron in those cases!). I like the lesson in the story, as well. Perhaps none of us have faced a Dark Lord in our lives, but I'm sure many of us have had life-altering experiences that we have to find our way through, or around, and come out living a life that is still our own, despite the subjectively cataclysmic events that seemed to change everything we thought we had or were or would become. But you pick up your broom and find a way back into your life. Thanks for a very nice story.
