Oh this is such a cute chapter! I loved the good morning kiss! How adorable! I want a nuncheon! I can't wait to see what Quin has to say! Sorry...I got a little distracted when I was on my last review marathon! I'll finished up my review today! I promise!

Author's Response: Thanks! Very glad you like the good-morning kiss.

Hallelujah! It finally happened! Pigs have flown...the fires of hell have been extinguished with a garden hose...THEY FINALLY ADMITTED THAT THEY LOVED EACH OTHER!!! Too perfect of a chapter...with Minerva almost apparating to Hogwarts in her nightgown (maybe that would have led to something...?)! I'm so excited that you're going to continue! I can't wait to see what happens next! Just a little side note...I like your choice of days for this miraculous event to occur...August 16th is my birthday! How funny! Anyways...I'm to read the next chapter1

Author's Response: Well, happy fictional-world-timeline birthday, then! haha! I'm glad you liked it! Hope you continue to. There are several chapters left, a number of threads to tie up, and don't forget the lemonade, the lemon meringue, the lemon custard, the lemon chiffon, the sherbet lemons -- wait, Albus hasn't discovered them yet! *grin* And a bit of lime, of course. Gotta have some nice build-up! Key Lime Pie, perhaps . . . haha! Thanks for the review. (I just watched Pinky & the Brain, so I'm a bit addle-pated at the moment! Please excuse me! I have an overwhelming desire to say . . . NARF! Aahhh, that's better! ;-P)

Umm...I read the title & I knew this chapter was gonna be good! Whilpsy & Quin are definately my new heros! Oh & let's not forget Gertie & Egeria! Oh my god! The confrontation was everything I had hoped for & then some! Maybe now Albus will get his head out of his ass & do something right! & the ultimatum...just lovely! I can't wait to see Minerva's reaction!

Author's Response: Glad you liked it and it lived up to its billing, so to speak! Thanks!

Oh Quin...poor Quin...he's got Minerva all over him & still he says no...good man! I'd love to see a confrontation between Quin & Albus! That really would be something! Hmm...I wonder how Minerva's parents will react...they're quite perceptive...

Author's Response: Ah, well, if you take a look at the chapter title coming up, you may just get your wish! *grin* It is difficult for Quin . . . he is a true friend!

Oh Quin how I love you! He's such a sweetheart & has the resolve of steel...well, almost! :D But Minerva, throwing yourself at another man just isn't worth it...although it might be just what Albus' needs (besides a kick in the ass) to get in the game! & Quin got her presents! I'm starting to think that Quin likes Minerva more than he lets on...maybe Gertie's no so far off after all! & where in the world did Albus go? Obviously he's still in the castle...but what a coward to just hitail it & run? Next review coming right up!

Author's Response: Ah, so mysterious, that place he went to! haha! We've been there before. So has Minerva. *wink* You'll find out!

It's always 1 step forward & then 16 back...will they ever learn? & I thought that everything was going to be better when they made up & then made out...but no...dumb dumb dumb...grr...Well...onto the next chapter!

Author's Response: I gather you are on the chapter with the Big Misunderstanding! It's all upwards from here on! Even when it doesn't seem like it! I'm glad you are back to reviewing -- I couldn't find your most recent review, which is what I use to contact you about the new chapters! I gave up after a couple pages, though. Well hello there and welcome back!! I do hope you enjoyed your holidays and a much deserved break. I, for one am glad you are back and I have a question: Starbucks, football, Godiva and RaM, can a girl get any closer to heaven??? =o) tee hee!

I was very happy to see an update when I got home tonight. And I must say that the fluffiness has definitely started. I am so glad the two of them are "almost" on the same page. I do believe Minerva has a little more convincing before Albus will believe she longs/needs his touch and will not reject him. I hope he will confide in her what Val *grrr* said to him, just so she can show (insert italics here) him exactly how wrong that "vile, evil, loathsome little coakroach"(PoA) of a witch is. tee hee!

It was so endearing to see how he missed her when they parted ways.....and I am wondering what the Knight meant by his comment, but all in due time, I know. I find I am getting a little impatient like Minerva.

LOL...Gertrude actually took Hagrid and went after Albus? That, in itself, is hilarious. I can just see Hagrid standing there blushing. LMAO!!

I can't wait for Minerva's conversation with Quin. On the same token, I am salivating to see what Albus will write to him and if what he told Albus will be revealed to Minerva. Enchanting!

I almost cried when Minerva told Albus about how she got hurt and her foolishness and I am glad she didn't let him take all the blame as I was afraid he would.

While I realize many are chomping at the bit for the lemons, I am glad you easing us into their love play. It would not sit with the tone you have instilled from the beginning. Thank you for this lovely installment. As always, I look forward to more.

Cheers!

Stef =o)

Author's Response: You're welcome! And there will be lemons. Very zesty lemons. All the zestier for the time it takes for them to ripen! ;-)

I'd comment more, but not only do I need to get to sleep at a relatively rational hour tonight, but I also don't want to give anything away, and in my sleepy state, I just might do that!

Thanks very much for reviewing. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!

HAH! first to review! It is so funny, because I had just re-read the last three chapters, I did some stuff, checked my email, and UPDATE!!! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season! I so want a nuncheon. And the Silent Knight! I'm so excited that we might learn more about him!!! So, the Misunderstanding is Resolved, but there are two new problems: 1) Albus not letting Minerva make it to home plate with him. 2) Just how public their relationship will be. I'm with Minerva! Go to Madame Malkins!! God, what's better than shopping + your man! Oh: shopping + your man + chocolate. Duh! Excellent chappy!!

Author's Response: Very glad you liked it! :-) As for the new problems, I am sure that Minerva will resolve the first one fairly quickly ;-), and the second . . . we'll see!

Ah-ah, ureshii!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!^)))) I still can't really believe it!!^) And, as I see it, Albus too still can't really believe it! Poor man^)))))))))))But, gosh, Minerva IS direct!:) And I love it!! She'll definitely get through all of Albus's lame excuses like "I'm old, unsexy, tra-ta-ta..."!^)))) That was good one chapter! Thank you!!)) Have a nice holiday!!! And come back to us recharged with inspiration!^))) We will be patiently waiting))))) Merry Christmas!!!! Chu!^_^

Author's Response: Thank you! Very glad you liked it! I'm sure Minerva will get through to Albus in pretty short order -- he's got a few issues, but he's also really in love with her and attracted to her and all that. And he normally doesn't have confidence problems in other areas of his life, and he didn't have these confidence problems when he was young, so she'll be able to strip them away! lol Happy New Year! and Merry Christmas, and whatever else you may enjoy celebrating at this time of year!

Author's Response: Thanks! That was the only site I could do that on, but it looked neat, I thought. (couldn't do it over on admm because of the background colour there -- it becomes illegible.) There are a few nice things about reading/posting over there, though it probably isn't the best place to start reading a very long WIP (or completed fic) because of the overall format.

Can I hear a Hallelujah? H A L L E L U J A H!! Can I hear an amen? A M E N!! (Sorry, but this chapter just brought out the southern preacher in me! LOL) To say my heart is in the clouds would be an understatement at this moment. And I think it may be time for another *wave of one by a member of the MMADfan avid reader club* YEEEEEHHAAAWWWWW!!!*clears throat* yeah...um...sorry there...*jabs thumb over shoulder*...that was my southern muse exhibiting her right to display her southern habits to you. Usually they are reserved for football games and family functions but she escaped. We now return you to our regular review, already in progress.

Let me just say that there it is, in all it's wonderful glory~~~~~~~> “I love you, I adore you, I desire you, I want no other wizard. Though I have tried, nothing ever works because no other wizard is Albus Dumbledore. I love you, Albus.” YESSSSS! This ride has been totally AWESOME and it delights me to no end that it isn't over yet. I worry about Albus wanting to go slow and be sure about the fact that Minerva desires his touch. But I won't get started on the "Val" factor again. But you have assured us things are good now, right? Although, even if there may be another hurtle to overcome, somehow I know Minerva is brave enough to help our silly wizard over it. The tenderness in this chapter almost made me cry...it did bring a tear to my eye. It was brilliant my dear.

One thing I forgot to ask about in the previous chapter was about Malcolm. He said he would take the DADA position...*gasp* Nothing is gonna happen to him is it?? Though I see he is only taking it for a year, maybe that is a loophole? I hope so.

I hope you have a great break. You certainly deserve it. I, unexpectantly am going to get one right after the holiday....because although I work in retail I managed to get vacation time off right after...do you believe it??? I am so psyched (sp?)!! Wishing you, da bombe, a Merry Christmas!=o)

Cheers!

Stef =o)

Author's Response: Okay, I've only had half my required caffeine for the morning, so take that into account when reading this! LOL!

I am really glad that they chapter moved you so thoroughly that you let out your Southern-ness (although at this point, on such low caffeine, I'm glad I didn't actually have to HEAR that rebel yell *grin*). Don't worry, Minerva will have great fun persuading Albus that he's not dried-up and repulsive! LOL!

As for the DADA position, nothing says that anything bad has to happen to the teacher; they just can't teach into another year. In a way, the curse is fulfilled by Malcolm himself and his nature -- i.e., the aversion to accepting any responsibility beyond a brief time. For him, anything beyond a few weeks is a long-term job! So ten months is FOREVER for him! But he gets a side benefit: his Tru-love is there! ;D

Hope you have a good holiday! Thanks!

Wow. Speechless + happy. I might try to leave a more coherent review later. You have DESERVED your break. He better have written her sonnets out of all he put her through. I love how she keeps saying that she doesn't understand his foolish thinking. And how his pupils' dilated when she said she REALLY desired him. He'd better believe it....what a ride!!! But I'm glad you're letting us see the relationship develop farther....yay!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the sympathy and I am feeling better. I must have been worse than I thought because I missread the chapter title.lol. I thought it said Comforting Albus! Boy was I surprised. hee hee.Funny what a little food poison will do. oh well.

Let me just say each chapter just gets better than the last. And I gave a whoop of joy for Wilspy.Making sure Albus took care of himself and then making it so he only had the robes Minerva gave him to wear. LOL! I simply adore her.

Poor Gertie. I was glad to see she told him she would go to Minerva herself. And also glad Albus didn't jump entirely down her throat. Although it might have been interesting if we had seen Gertie get mad at him. Could have shook some sense into the poor wizard. But knowing her she would wait for him to come around....and that may have taken f o r e v e r.

Now to Quin. He is right, Minerva may kill him for interfearin' but I believe he was right to do so. I clapped my hands at his confrontation of Albus! Perhaps he would have been in Gryffindor had he attended Hogwarts. =o) Because it is a brave thing he did. Then he knew how Albus felt because he was vulnerable because of their misunderstanding(s). And Quin figured out that Albus had lied to Minerva about his feelings....and giving Albus an ultimatum....OH MY!! But he was right, Albus had no idea how he affected Minerva and the damage she did to herself. Of course I am sure now Albus probably feels like a rat because he didn't know Minerva was injured or she had gone into the Forbidden Forest. I wonder if he will ask her about that?

Next, I knew Egeria would know something was wrong with Minerva. And I understand that sometimes it's good to just want your mommy for comfort, *sniff*. Then we find out she really did crack a rib. That must have been really painful, how could she not say anything?? It's a wonder she didn't do more harm to herself, and I am glad it didn't break entirely. *shudder**shakes her head at Minerva's foolishness* But then, as Egeria said, no one who loves is a fool because it is what makes us human. Then Egeria told Minerva it's alright to love him...YAY! Poor Minerva, having no hope left. =o( But Albus' letter is on the way thanks to Quin and then to Wilspy. I love how everyone is working, albeit separately, to get them together. This was sooooo great!!! I think I feel like I have been on a rollercoaster all through this chapter. Thanks!

Cheers!

Stef =o)

Author's Response: Thanks! I'd respond in greater detail, but I'm about to post the next chapter!

RE: the broken rib. One reason that Minerva was so vulnerable to injury was that she was in her Animagus form, so she wasn't as protected from ordinary injury as she normally would be (think, Gertie and the Bludger! haha -- Or Neville's various mishaps in the books); Minerva was very achey, of course, but also fairly unused to being hurt. Nonetheless, the salve that Quin used did help some with her rib, just not enough since it wasn't specifically meant for such injuries; in the meantime, she knows she's aching all over, and she is distracted by her emotional pain, and then she kinda got used to not taking very deep breaths, so she wasn't entirely aware of how bad it was until it was better! (On a completely diff note, someone in my school when I was a teen, back in the Dark Ages, kept fainting, and no one knew why. She even went to the hospital. She played basketball. She fainted on the basketball court, her couch noticed an old bruise on her leg, told her faimily to get her leg X-rayed, and what do you know! She had a hairline fracture and never knew it-- even played basketball with it. She said it sort of hurt, but she just got used to it . . . )

The food sounded good when I read this before, but I think I picked up a tummy bug because now I am kinda green so this probably won't be long. =o

I thought when Minerva saw his ring hanging on the chain, that was what stopped her. But then she tries again...and Quin. *sob* This was so tender and heartwrenching. *boo hoo hoo, sniff* I loved how he told her to wait a few seasons and then come to him. So he would know she wanted him for him *sniff* and not as a substitute for her pain from her rejection. I feel so bad for Minerva...her heart is torn to pieces and Albus doesn't even realize it. Quin definitely is a strong wizard and I admire his resolve. He did tell her she would always be safe with him. Now we know it's true. But I really loved when he told her he could fall in love with her so easily, give her pleasure if he thought she would benefit from it even if it would end and he would lose her. This definitely brought a tear to my eye.

I see Minerva still wrote she hoped he was well when she wrote to Albus. Hopefully this should still convey to him she still cares for him. And now she is heading for her parents house? Egeria is very intuitive. I wonder what her parents will make of her disposition. I fear she is still not herself. Thanks for the quick updates. *moan* Cheers!

Stef =o) =o/

Author's Response: I'm sorry about the tummy! You have my sympathy!

Well, you can now read the next chapter and find out what happened when Minerva arrived at her parents' house! Albus didn't really notice that line, but he did take heart from the fact that she had used his first name, and had signed it that way, too.

It was the ring that stopped her initially, but then . . . her need and her emptiness -- and her care for Quin, as well -- had her "expressing herself" again. And Quin really doesn't want her to feel bad about it.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Well, I must say you have created yet another lovely chapter. But where oh where do I begin? BTW, I did read this just after you posted it this morning (yikes! I mean yesterday morning) so I only had time to read it. I even skipped my peppermint mocha from Starbucks to read the chapter!! And I was soo looking forward to it, been good and haven't had one all week. But it was worth it. =o) And since I didn't want any influence from other reviewers I have not been to anywhere else you post to see what everyone said yet. *puffs out chest with pride* =o)

Okay, let me just say that I absolutely LOVE Quin. He is a wizard after my own heart and if I weren't already taken I would ask you fer his address. lol I kinda feel sorry for him though. It has to be terribly difficult for him with Minerva feeling vulnerable, kissing him and trying to "throw"(for lack of a better word here)herself at him. But I commend him for not giving in and reminding her, though it probably pained him to do so, that it isn't what she really wants or needs right now. My she did do a number to herself!!

Personally, I am glad Albus didn't catch sight of her because it would probably have made him feel worse and more guilt for driving her to such a state. The poor man is already beating himself up. And now, it seems to me, that Valerianna has indirectly affected Minerva in the same way she affected Albus. Planting that seed of self doubt. Now Minerva thinks Albus was repulsed by her in much the same way Albus was told he repulsed Valerianna. (You know I really, really strongly dislike her...I think a charmed cast iron frying pan is in order here! Much like the walking stick that chased Umbridge away...hmmm..no that was Peeves wasn't it? Oh well you get the point.) Except Albus is worse because the poor wizard was verbally abused...and lord can words hurt. =o(

I also worry for Albus. Minerva ran off and I wonder if he saw her leave or has looked for her and discovered her gone. Something tells me that will not bode well with him either. He already beats himself up enough. On that same note about disappearances I have to admit that him making himself disappear did occur to me but I tossed it aside because Minerva always seemed to be able to sense him. So I thought, surely he wouldn't have done that. But he may have, and like she said, she was distraught so she may not have been able to sense him in the vicinity.

I also wonder if Wilspy came back and I am sure she would have realized what kind of state Albus was in. I wonder what she does or says to him. Hmmm, maybe she will give him a good dream. *giggle*

Another thing I wonder about is Quin's sense of Minerva. He said he could feel the pain rolling off her even through the door. Is that because of how he feels for her? Or Is it because of the MacAirt gift? Oh, and I SAW IT!! I didn't catch it the first time but I did the second time. Quin told Minerva he loves her. Oh my....what a tangling web we are weaving. Now I wonder if it is like Minerva's statement. He loves her but he isn't IN love with her? Sometimes I wish I knew what Quin was feeling at a particular time, like now! This has to be soo hard for him. I just wanna give him a hug.

Another thing I noticed was his business he changed to stay with Minerva. And I know this is totally off topic, I saw him mentiona chocolate factory.lol Perhaps, "Albus and the muggle Chocolate Factory" isn't so farfetched at all.*raises hand in the air and makes circular motions*Whoop! Whoop!Whoop! tee hee.

Okay, I think that's it. Although I am glad Quin wouldn't even be attracted to "Val"*says this with a sneer*even if she did the Dance of the Seven veils. GO QUIN! BTW, Thank you ever so much for updating . And I've said it before but I will say it again...you are Da Bombe!! I also hope you have a great night, morning...whatever?? and I will talk to you later. Cheers!

Stef =o)

Author's Response: Thank you! I'd be more articulate, but for having been awake half the night (okay, a couple hours, but it felt like half the night) because of some idiot's car alarm. It went off for a couple hours, minimally. I think the battery might have finally died. I can't muster much sympathy for the owner. None, in fact.

I love bein' Da Bombe! lol! The next two chapters are Quin-laden, particularly the next one, and that one will be up sometime today. (At least I don't have to work and can stay home and sleepily format and post the story! I don't think I have any writing-energy, though, so it's a good thing the next three chapters are in the bank waiting for posting.)

Thanks much!

Ouchy. Quin totally rules. He should give Albus lessons in not being a knave. By the way....where the devil did Albus go? And is anyone still at the castle with the wards?

Author's Response: If Albus had left the school while Minerva were still there, the wards would have automatically -- or automagically? lol -- snapped to her. So you know he was still there when she left. As to the rest, I just have to say you will have to wait and see -- but it won't be a long wait, I promise!

Awwwwwwwww...I loved that playful exchange at the end between Albus + Minerva! Given how perceptive Malcolm + Trudie are........what did they make of it?

Author's Response: Gertrude may have noticed something and been vaguely pleased about it, but Malcolm is so taken with Gertrude at the moment, that if he's in the same room with her, only an attack of ravening beasts would catch his attention, for all he's trying to remain nonchalant and aloof! haha!
