Congratulations "calling" on a playground as being an important part of Snape's life. I can see something like this happening at some point, if Snape was waiting around, hoping for Lily and Petunia to show up. There certainly would have been other kids in the neighborhood who would have fed into Severus's loathing for Muggles.

Heartbreaking. I like your short-and-to-the-point style and I particularly liked the “a shredded book and a dunk in the pond later, the feelings were mutual” line – very Snapey.
