'Presence' and 'Home' are my favorites. *sigh* and I like the bit about the fireflies. “She loves me, yeah, yeah, yeah!" lol. Filius is sooo cute in these. Thanks for sending me here. Off to read 'Falling for Pomona.'

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed those! I think Presence is my favorite, too. And I liked the little twist on the Beatles song! Haha! (Budding Charms also is FFPS.)

Lol. Poor Albus. Hope he's okay. In 'Heat' I must say that is an unusual pairing but I liked it.

Author's Response: If you liked "Heat," you'll love the longer one-shot that came out of it. It's available at TPP -- check my LJ for the link to it. Thanks for the review! (I'm sure that Albus survived a bonk to the conk with an apple core! haha!)

Author's Response: Oh, yeah, you should also check out "Lemon Drabbles." There are a variety of pairings there, including one more SSPP and a few ADMMs. There's a link to "Lemon Drabbles" on my LJ, too.

In 'Awakening' is that Professor Binns? At first I thought it was Headmaster Dippet but after rereading it I remembered something from 'RaM' and realized that Minerva had said Binns seemed to sleep in the Staff room. heh

Author's Response: Yes -- remember that he fell asleep in front of the staff room fire and died, then got up and taught the next day as if nothing had happened? That's canon. I just expanded on it a bit. I'm glad you liked it. (In RaM, Albus tells Minerva that Binns spends the nights in front of the staffroom fire as a matter of habit, so if she ever needs to find him, she can usually locate him there -- I just took that from canon and used it. It wasn't my invention.)

Yes, well, unfortunately you got mixed up with the tail-end of an extremely irritating discussion I'd been having with another MMAD writer who was insisting that the larvae were the adult animal, and you kind-of got the flack because I was already feeling thoroughly irritated on the topic - and they're such a very *alien* animal. It's like having herds of wildebeest wandering across Wiltshire (although curiously enough we do actually have wallabies in Wiltshire). I never intended to freak you out or for you to go off at a tangent and start re-writing things - I just thought you'd put a note on saying "There aren't any fireflies in Britain so we'll assume they're in Belgium". But when you then went overboard and totally re-wrote the author's note, and got what I'd said to you back to front anyway, that freaked *me* out, because it was such an over-reaction. Anyway they're nice drabbles, mostly, especially the bit about Minerva hiding anoung Mrs Figg's moggies.

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. (And I don't think I'd ever mistake a larva for an adult. LOL)

that fireflies bit and Tonk's hair changing in time with them was so neat!! But, I will never look at Flitwick the same way again......

Author's Response: Hee! I thought Flitwick was cute, silly, and amusing. ;D And I'm glad you liked Tonks and the fireflies! Thanks for reviewing!

Wow. I wasn't sure I'd like this. I grumbled to myself that it would have to be quite well done for me to enjoy it. But I have to admit that after two chapters I was hooked. and the third has continued to keep my interest. Thank you for writing this interesting collecton of little bits, like miniature paintings, well worth looking at more than once.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! *blush* I'm glad you're enjoying them. I decided I needed the challenge of writing something short and sweet. I like the "Five Nights" set particularly well, so will be interested in knowing whether others do, as well! *grin* Thanks very much for reading and, especially, for reviewing!

(In response to your response to my earlier review) Oh, Duh! I caught the reference about Arabella's other guest, but didn't make the connection with cat food. So silly of me. I'm off to read the next chapter now.

Author's Response: That's okay -- it can happen when we read fast! LOL! I just blinked several times at the thought of Arabella trying to feed Harry cat food. Even she wasn't that batty! Or catty! ;D

Poor Sorting hat. He deserves more pomp and circumstance maybe a velvet pillow..

Author's Response: He thinks so, too! ;D

I like these. But I am wondering, did you mean HArry WOULD eat what Arabella served her hats? I would imagine he just might, as hungry as he sometimes got with the Dreadful Dursleys. These are well done vingettes. Thanks

Author's Response: Arabella was waiting for another guest as well, one who would come via Floo, one who would eat salmon, but not cat food, one who would receive Arabella's report on Harry's condition and then stay for tea, eating salmon, then curling up next to Harry as he ate his biscuits. Can you guess who it was? (Re-read the drabble; I think it will be clear. If you think I'm saying something peculiar, well, I may be, but better to re-read it first. Hahahaha!)

hmmmm...a tabby...probably takes her chamomile with catnip? these were fun...Severus seems to like older women in your stories : ) And the one with Minerva and the apple core was priceless!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed them. The one with Severus that you mention was partly so that the reader, who might be expecting a different sort of "large age difference" with a different witch, might get a bit of a surprise and a chuckle. Glad you liked the two with Minerva! :D
