Yes, indeedy! It is a real book, and my mom stitll had it when my brother was trying to tell his kids about the birds and the bees! He read it to all the kids (mine included) and ALL of the boys wanted to show off what they had, and both of the girls were mad they didn't have them; my daughter (age 3) demanded that I take her to the store and buy her one, "RIGHT NOW!" My brother was SO red, and I couldn't quit laughing. My mom came in, saw the boys and the book, and turned RED, turned around and left! I left right behind her, trying to regain my composure; my daughter followed me, with my niece right behind. I could hear my brother telling the boys to "put those away! You don't show girls!" with the boys wanting to know why not...

It was one sleep-over my family won't forget!

Your story was very good, BTW! Thanks for writing it!

Author's Response: I think your story just might trump mine! Too, too funny! I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

Very cute and a lot too true! Apparently you have already been through this topic of discussion with your children. Luckily I'm not there yet, but like Ginny, I will have two boys to educate (Aaaaah). Thanks for the laugh.

Author's Response: Thanks; I'm glad you enjoyed the story. And, yes, I've been through several versions of this conversation with my son; James's reaction to this book was modeled on my son's. (Which, BTW, I highly recommend when the time comes.)
