From longroot: I was at work checking my email....and damn! an update....SO could not read this at work.....tee-hee! And I want a magical table!!! So good that they're communicating better, and that Albus saw her lil shrine. The slow undressing + the dirty talk was great! Was the charm he was talking about the levitation one?And Albus said 'bloody' -so cute! And I TOTALLY guessed they were under his pillow! Author's Response: No, it wasn't -- it's one he hasn't used and wouldn't without talking to her about it first. teehee! And remember, it's cast on him, not on the area under her to create a nice cushion for her or to lengthen the table legs or whatever. I'm glad you guessed where they were -- right where he could appreciate them! *grin* And I'm glad you appreciated Albus's use of that term -- and his little "oops" apology. heehee! If the problem with the weird out-of-order chapters can't be fixed by the time I post the next chapter, I'll send you a message and you can read it over at TPP or somewhere. I hope we can get it fixed easily, though. It's very frustrating -- like trying to grab onto something made of jello, it just squishes the chapters around to try to move them to where they belong. My bp when up, I'll tell ya! Thanks as always for the review!

From longroot: the title of this chapter made me laugh! great alliteration!! Yeesh. Albus is still kicking her out of bed!! And I am SO excited to hear the Silent Knight's story!!! And you have another surprise coming up for us!!! Yay!! And, of course, the hotness was BACk! Woot! Author's Response: Yup, hotness in this chapter, and in the next. *grin* It's a bit of a hassle, since I am also posting over at ffnet, and I tone down the chapters significantly to keep it T-rated, which means going through and editing out the hottest stuff but still trying to keep the general citrus-scent. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter! Thanks!!!

From stefdarlin: Dear DA BOMBE, You know, there is so much going on here I don't know where to start this time. Hmmm, as you know though, you always write such wonderful lemons. I see that the fever continues and looks to continue for some time and that is wonderful. I loved that he carried her back up the stairs with her still around him, oh my! And then, he was ready again so soon. I hope he doesn't wear Minerva out, giggle. (that really did make me giggle, that thought, it did! heh!) I loved how they discussed fantasies and lovemaking elsewhere and that it seemed uncomfortable. That is soooo very true, especially in a new and burgeoning relationship. We realize they have loved each other for years and have been waiting, each for the other for so long. But this is still a new relationship and that sort of talk would be uncomfortable for their characters so I thought that was very well done. I also had hoped he would let her stay, the poor dear. *sigh* But I understand, and I love the banter about what she would have done if he had asked her to use a glamour and when he called her a vixen I giggled too. Oh yes, the part about the knickers made me laugh out loud. I do hope they don't show up in some akward place and embarass Minerva. Somehow I think the more appropriate place would be in one of Albus' drawers, lol, but then Wilspy might find it, but she would be oh so happy. lol. Ok, ok , I will stop. Hmm, what next? Oh yes, the Silent Knight. I do hope we get to hear his story. I was very intrigued by the fact that his geas is lightening. I wonder does it have something to do with Albus and Minerva's relationship. That Albus is perhaps taking over the protection of Minerva. I know from AAoL that they do marry and, of course then, her protection would be his duty as her husband, hmmm I do wonder. But someone pointed out the crest on his shield, could he be an ancestor of Minerva's or the servant of one of her ancestor's who had sworn to protect the family? Next we had the wedding, of course, and the breakfast. Lol, you have to love Egeria for managing to seat Albus closer to Minerva and involving Murdoch. It is sad that he and Poppy didn't get to sit together but now I wonder what may have been going through Poppy's head at the time. She strikes me as a very curious witch and she was present when Minerva said what she did. Sometimes I wish I could see everyone's thoughts. heh! I love the fact that Albus was startled at first when Minerva's foot traveled up his leg, oh la la! But I wanted to melt when he smiled back at her. I find the fact that they are heading to an afternoon tryst very thrilling. Somehow the thought of them participating in a nooner (lol, term) seems so erotic, who would think Albus Dumbledore would do such a thing? That is sooo awesome. =o) I am grinning from ear to ear here. Thanks so much for updating. I am looking forward to the fever to continue and to spike occasionally but never be recovered from, heh, heh.....yes, one long fever for them both. Mmmmm, yes, that sounds so very nice. Have a great night dear. Cheers! Stef =o) P.S. My father-in-law thinks the toe is broken. Oh well, it is a rather lovely shade of purple. So until you update again, I have it to remind me of the lovely letter Albus wrote to Minerva to begin the resolving of their misunderstanding. lol, Good night.=o) Author's Response: I broke a toe once, and when I called and talked to my orthopedic surgeon (he's a great doc -- saved me from a life in a wheelchair), he told me to tape it to the next toe and if the swelling went down and it didn't feel worse (it didn't look horrid -- bones sticking out or anything), it would probably just heal up fine on its own, and it did, really pretty quickly. I just took vitamin c, calcium, and vitamin d, and kept them taped together for a week. He saved me a bunch of money and the hassle of seeing a doctor. Well, all that aside-stuff aside, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Yes, the fever continues! We will not only hear the Knight's story, but we will learn where Minerva's knickers ended up. *grin* Poppy didn't overhear anything that Minerva said that day, though, because she was still sitting down at the other end of the table with Quin and some Muggles. Murdoch is hoping to go down and join her, or move her up to sit where Melina and Brennan were, or some such thing. As for Albus wearing Minerva out, isn't that one of the nicest ways to get worn out, though? hehehheh! I don't know when I'll be able to update again, but hopefully it will be sometime this week! Thanks, as always, for the review! Hope the toe gets better!

From flaming_phoenix: Ha! Love that chapter title! A+ for alliteration! Poor Minerva...Albus is still kicking her out...I can't wait to hear the Silent Knight's story...he's a very fascinating...character? Author's Response: Oh, Minerva's fine with it. Mostly. She's trying to exercise patience! The Silent Knight's story will be along in a couple more chappies! Glad you liked the chapter title! I like it when I can alliterate, or be a little bit silly. ;D

From stefdarlin: OMG!!!! For some reason at the moment, words escape me. lol That was soo VERY HOT!! I am practically panting myself. My dear, you never disappoint, and, well, I don't know what to say other than, this was one AMAZING chapter. All I can think is, my poor hubby, he won't know what came over me when I attack him later. *blush* lol. Anyway, back to the review. =o) I loved the rest of their visit with her parents and the little tidbits about Malcolm and how he helped Minerva come back home in that storm and gave her his cloak to warm her up. Poor thing. Also, poor Merwyn, he does try, but I felt Albus' discomfort in that whole baby conversation. Unfortunately, with Melina and Brennan's wedding , that subject is more than likely to come up over the next few days. Hopefully Minerva will be more prepared and so will Albus if it comes up again. Alright! That was an interesting way to dangle a carrot right before the lemon. But I did notice and I am wondering if I missed some information somewhere. They came to a compromise about their Holiday?? What did they decide? Where was I?? -grumble, grumble. Very clever, dear, leaving out that little detail. You will have us all guessing. hmpf! =o) I liked all the little tidbits about the upcoming duel and Professor Kettleburn (and his missing pieces, lol)and I really loved that Minerva took the initiative and told Albus she needed him. So horrible, having him right there and not being able to just jump on top of him because she was trying to respect his wishes. Then, when she told him she would beg, I know it must have pained him to hear her say that but I think it must have made him realize how much she truly desired him. How she longed for them to be completely together. YAY MINERVA!!!!!! Needless to say I am totally PSYCHED right now and you are truly DA BOMBE!!!...I am looking forward to the next installment, thank you, as always, for updating. You so TOTALLY ROCK!! (Thak you for bringing the "Fever" back =o) ) Cheers! Stef =o) Author's Response: Your review had me grinning all the way through. And I'm glad you noticed the placement of that little carrot! LOL! I do love to tease just a bit! (Why do you think my lemons have a bit of zing? teehee!) Glad you enjoyed Kettleburn and his missing bits and pieces (no, not those bits -- they are still intact! LOL!) -- I think that some of the chapter got lost in the lemon at the end. People forgot what they read before that! ;) I love bein' DA BOMBE! :D Hopefully, the FEVER will be back a few more times before the end of the story! Loved the review, as always!

From flaming_phoenix: OMG! Love it! The scene in the staircase was HOT! The fact that Minerva was willing to beg...that should help eliminate any doubts Albus may still be having! Anyways...loved the interaction between Minerva & Albus when they stayed the night. Too cute! & what did they decide to do about their vacation! Where are they going!?! Can't wait for the wedding & vacation! Update soon! Author's Response: You will see where their holiday will take them! *grin* Glad you enjoyed their interaction when they stayed overnight! (Can't imagine anyone actually looking forward to a registry office wedding -- I'm yawning just thinking about it! LOL!) But we will see the happy couple (Melina & Brennan), and then Albus has some plans for Minerva. ;D I'm glad you enjoyed teh chapter!!!

From longroot: DAMN! That's HOT! Muggle sex sucks, next to that! I'll leave a more coherent review about the OTHER sections of the chapter later, but DAMN that was HOT! And he's taking her upstairs for more ravishment! Author's Response: Well, other than his little charm, it was pretty Muggle. You just gotta have the right lover. ;D Of course, at the very end, she does feel his magic, but other than that . . . I'm glad it was satisfying! But it does seem that people's eyes glaze over and they're unable to remember the earlier parts of the chapter! LOL! Yeah, maybe ending with a lemon ain't the best idea in the world! haha! No, just kidding! Thanks for the review! And I am very glad you found it hot! Author's Response: Oh, although I do suppose that using magic to get rid of pesky bits of clothing would be very convenient! Yeah, I could definitely see the attraction of that! LOL!

From longroot: So...the OTHER stuff. I also loved the sleep over stuff and Mr. Missing Bits. My two favorite parts were when Malcolm almost made Minerva spit out her soup about the new hire, but ESPECIALLY Merwyn's smart-ass comment about rain being 'interesting.' I love a good storm myself, but that was hilarious!!! Author's Response: Yes, Merwyn and Malcolm both think they're quite funny. And they are -- Malcolm particularly enjoys timing his comments well, as he did there! Haha! Thanks much! :D

From stefdarlin: Boy! Talk about a roller coaster!! I loved how nervous Albus was. First, about being late as he didn't want to anger Minerva and then about meeting her parents and how they would react to him. I could really feel his apprehension and understand it. Poor Albus. LOL, Merwyn is hilarious in the chapter. I can only imagine how Albus would have reacted had he slipped up and mentioned one of the rules Egeria set for the day. lol Her parents are Great. I did even feel a bit akward for Minerva whne her mother was telling her about what she knew of Albus' past and the contraceptive spells. And can I hear a Here! Here! for Minerva confiding in Egeria about ol' Val.(grumble, grumble) When Minerva and Albus arrived at her parents house, him telling her to hold onto him was so provocatively sweet. And then the kiss in the library was terribly sweet. I am glad Minerva held him to her when he tried to pull away when Orents appeared. She make him feel more secure around the house. You can tell how much he loves her here as well with his worriy about her climbing about on the cliffs and running around in her animagus form and then with his agreement to read his poem to her. *sniff, sniff* The was so beautiful and a great way to end the chapter. *sigh* Last, it was good that Minerva got an idea of how he was feeling about there differences in age. Maybe it will help her patience. Though I don't think it will affect it too terribly much, but she will probably be more understanding of his position on such matters as when they make love and when is the right time. *sigh*...This was so great and I do indeedy thank you for the update. I am sad it is over and I have to wait. But, as always, YOU ROCK! And I will be a good girl and be patient like Minerva. Have a good one! Cheers! Stef =o) Author's Response: Later, Albus might be able to laugh with Merwyn about "The Rules" for the visit, but he's not there yet! ;D Minerva did get a better visceral sense of what Albus must feel, and it will help her. Having a Healer-Midwife for a mother has its pluses and minuses! The offer of other sex-related spells wars really TOO much! haha! Thanks much!

I love that Albus was worried about being late, and I love that the portrait gave him advice! I thought it was cool that she was knitting something for another portrait-interesting idea. Minerva's parents are sweet as always, and I love Albus + Mineva's climb, and that he read her poetry up there- so swooney...and that it resembled his dream...great chappy...oh!! And Albus can fly!!!!!!! Author's Response: I thought maybe people might have guessed he could from Minerva's thoughts back in the memory she had in one of the Gamp chapters -- the one just before the party. Yup, just as impossible as becoming invisible! haha! Yes, Dilys has moved from tatting to crochet. Glad you liked Merwyn & Egeria!

From flaming_phoenix: Another fabulous chapter! I loved the interaction between Malcolm & Minerva! Great mini duel...but I can't wait to see Albus & Malcolm face off! I laughed out loud when Malcolm & Albus were "blunt" with each other about their relationship with a certain female someone! If Albus wasn't the other person Gertie loved besides Reg...then who is/was it? I can't wait to see what happens next when the men return to Hogwarts! Author's Response: Albus said it wasn't. Albus isn't infallible! There was a lot that Gertrude didn't say when she turned down his courtship. I'm glad you liked Malcolm and Minerva together! And it made Malcolm very happy to finally have almost an entire chapter, though he wished that Trudie had been in it with him! haha! Thanks for reviewing!

From stefdarlin: Wow! I review a chapter and then get a chapter in return. How GREAT is that??? lol. I know that isn't how it works...shame. *shrugs* Oh well, I am happy with what I get. I really loved this chapter. It was fun to explore Malcolm a little bit more. He is a quirky one. I loved the mock-duel with Minerva. I almost fell out of my chair when she used the shrinking shoe hex on him. LOL...that came in very handy. Though it served him right for getting her with that modified stunner. Yowch! I also liked how she removed herself from the equation of giving him too much info about the wards. I don't think that would be right for her to give him that info seeing as she is his sister. Somehow it would seem like he was cheating. However, I can't help but feel Albus doe have the upper hand, but I suppose he should seeing he is the Headmaster. I really liked the fact that she told him to go to Johannes and even gave him some rather wonderful advice. It is funny Malcolm would mention Quin. Just today on the way to work I heard a song on the radio that made me think of him. I actually miss him a bit. =o( But I hope he is having fun with his kiddies. =o) Minerva's lunch with Gertie was interesting, I thought Gertie might bring up the mark on Malcolms cheek, but then it doesn't surprise me that she didn't. I did like the fact that she told Minerva, quite subtly, that it was about time she and Albus were on the same page. LOL! Go Gertie! And Feego has a girlfriend?? How adorable!!!! The lunch between Malcolm and Albus was interesting. I lov ehow Malcolm gave Albus the you-better-not-hurt-my-sister-or-else speech with some manly advice thrown in. Only Malcolm. *Shakes head* He and Albus seem a little alike in peculiar ways. Especially with their love of gadgets and obscure objects. I'll bet Albus was in heaven playing with them all. *giggle* I was glad he told Albus that Minerva is fiery, which, of course, she is and he shouldn't always be such a gentleman. I wonder where Albus will go with that? Do I hear Fever playing in the background. I am almost to the point that I want our poor sexually frustrated Minerva to just attack him in the spiralling stairwell and have her wicked way with him!!! Talk about steamy...*sigh* lol. I think I need a glass of wine. (BTW, I totally agree with you and Di about the grumble smiley, I definitely need one here, heh,oh well..=o) ) Well, next up, the parents, right? I can hardly wait to see how things will go with them there. I am sure Merwyn and Egeria will disspell Albus' reservations. And I really wonder why Albus doesn't want to go to his cottage? Oh well, perhaps these questions will be answered soon enough. Thank you for updating so fast. You are still DA BOMBE!! I look forward *drool* to the next update with much anticipation. Have a great one! Cheers! Stef =o) Author's Response: Malcolm & Albus do have their similarities, which is one thing that attracts Gertie to Malcolm -- she does have certain characteristics she's always drawn to in a wizard, as she says. As for attacks in the spiral staircase -- the next big lemon has been written for a while, and it does not involve a spiral staircase . . . but I think you'll like it! *wicked grin* Thanks for your great review! I'm glad you enjoyed the chappie! The next is up today! :-)

I also was surprisingly pleased that Malcolm told him to be LESS of a gentleman with Minerva. And I LOVE them joking about meeting Minerva's parents!! ALbus saying 'Minerva says I have nothing to be nervous about.' Male evasiveness at it's best! Just admit your nervous, pal!!! And WHAT is up with the cottage? Is Albus concerned that it isn't posh enough? That Minerva will bore of him without entertainment/sightseeing? Dude, ALL she wants is to shack up with you!!!!!! Meet the Parents next. Yay!!!!!! Author's Response: Glad you caught Albus's non-answer! haha! I LOVE Chagall! And his work strikes me as something that both Albus and Malcolm would like. From longroot: shtupping!?! Is that Yiddish? And I LOVE that Minerva got Malcolm good with that gash!! Still looking forward to the 'meet the parents' scene. I love watching the man (in this case Albus) squirm a bit. Poor Minerva! He's still not staying the night!! But it's good to see them working through their misunderstandings so much quicker!!!!! And Albus now has a bit more of a clue for HOW long she's loved him (since her accident as his student!!!)!!!! I hope we get to see when he finds out about that!!!!! That could be a torturous scene!!! Enjoyed the chappy (and craving that meal of theirs)!!!!!! Author's Response: I know, doesn't the thought of paella make your mouth water? And the nice piquant salad, followed by Weinschaum . . . mmmm, I'm getting hungry! They are working through their misunderstandings or differences more quickly since the main one is gone. And Minerva will try to be somewhat patient with him, even though she doesn't think that shtupping and spending the night together is mutually exclusive with him being able to court her. Now I have to go get something to eat, and I've already brushed my teeth -- unfortunately, I have no house-elves to whip up any late-night paella for me! Thanks for the review!

From longroot: ooh. I just went back and read Chapter 12, one of my favorite chapters, when IT emerges. I hope that when she tells him about her accident, he doesn't have a relapse + doubt the source of her feelings for him...he might blame it on the accident (+ his interrupting her...+ he might blame himself again + feel awful that he caused her so much grief)...I also think that as with their mated wands, they have a lot to talk about regarding the accident-his instinctive actions to save her, etc. A lot did seem to happen for both of them during that accident. Author's Response: I think they will definitely have a lot to talk about once Minerva finally tells him about when her love for him awakened full-force. Hopefully by then, Minerva's constant repetition that she believes she couldn't have known him and not fallen in love with him, and her having told him that she had tried to no avail to convince herself that it was a crush and then to distract herself, will have him convinced that her love for him is genuine and so forth. Thanks much for the added note! I like the Minerva-student chapters, myself, which is kinda surprising to me, given that I never have any desire to write about Hogwarts students! LOL!

It was great to see Minerva stand up for & protect Albus' reputation to her brother! Quick with her wand indeed! It was so cute to hear Malcolm talk about how much Gertie really means to him! I think that he's in the relationship for the long haul! Poor Minerva & Albus...they just don't ever get a break...there's always someone or something interrupting! Oh well, that's what the vacation is all about...if Minerva gets her way (which I'm suspecting will happen!). Will we find out why Albus is so opposed to going to his cottage? Does it have anything to do his idea of courting? Anyways...I can't wait for the vacation & the duel & the wedding & umm...anything else I've forgotten!!! :D Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter! Oh, you'll find out more about Albus and the reservations he has about the cottage, but most of that is going to be in a little "side story." From stefdarlin: Hello there dear! So sorry I am late with my review. I stayed up way past my bedtime on Sunday to post something and I was paying for it. But, alas, here I am. =o) Thank you for such frequent posts, it made my day on Sunday after a long day at work and then a long night. I used it as a little diversion when I needed a break. Their dinner sounds fabulous. I do love paella...it makes me long for Bahama Breeze and some empanadas to go with it. Ahh, an evening with interruptions, I see. I can practically see Minerva's frustration. I am glad she had a talk with her brother to clear the air, so to speak. And I am glad she wouldn't hear any of his arguments. Very interesting that she got so angry she hexed him. And then didn't mean to do it so strongly. lol, don't talk about her man like that Malcolm. I think it is interesting that Malcolm would let her help him practice for his duel after that. But it does show him she can, perhaps, take care of herself and he doesn't have to worry. Here he is being so brotherly, hee hee. Hmmm, sounds like Malcolm is in it for the long haul. I'm glad he is thinking along those lines about Gertie. He does seem to be good for her and she for him. Then, Albus presses for answers...Minerva should know he wouldn't drop the subject. I think he wants to make certain her brother is alright with there relationship for himslef. And who could blame him. I look forward to the next few days...the cliffs, the wedding and then the trip. I definitely hope they get that together and quit squabbling. I also can't wait to see how Albus and Malcolm get along during their lunch. And then, dear Gertie. I wonder if she noticed Malcolms cheek? I bet she did and I wonder what she and MInerva will talk about when they get together. Goodie, goodie, I can hardly wait. But I will. =o) So sad there was no fever in this chapter, but I know it won't be lost for long. Poor Minerva, wanting him to stay and he won't. *sigh* Such a Gentleman. Thanks for this, You so TOTALLY ROCK!!! Cheers! Stef =o) Author's Response: Ah, it is so good to know that I still TOTALLY ROCK!!! LOL! Seriously, I'm really glad you enjoyed the chapter. Nope no fever in this chapter -- I can't do a lemon in EVERY chapter -- you'd get dead bored of them after a while! LOL! Yeah, Malcolm is peculiar, but he's still brotherly. And Gertrude is definitely a steadying influence on him, among other things. He is more himself and his best self with her, which is always what the best of love does for any of us, isn't it? Anyway, I've been burning the candle at both ends lately, so I can't think of much more, but I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, despite the lack of fever, and I appreciate your review, as always!

Will she get to fuck his beard soon? I was surprised that this came at this point, but I think pleasantly so. They both wanted each other SO MUCH and much of what they said and thought in this chapter was SO SWEET. I also like that Albus got her amber earrings to match her amber bee pendant (A. it is sweet, B. I LOVE amber), and that Malcolm noticed the interesting lacing. That lacing bit made me chuckle!! I look forward to seeing how this duel progresses...never know, maybe some big brother protectiveness may come out, but I'm not sure with Malcom... Nice job! Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. We'll find out in the next chapter how Minerva's conversation with Malcolm went when she tells Albus more about it. Thank you for reviewing! And I do hope it gets better with time! ;D

From flaming_phoenix: OMG!!! 128 chapters later...they did IT! I didn't think this was ever going to happen...can you say snail's pace? But, it was too perfect! I had to read this chapter twice before I could even form a comprehensive response! I so wasn't expecting this to happen now...I was thinking maybe when they went on vacation. Love Albus' gift...so thoughtful & too cute! Can't wait for the duel...& Minerva's conversation with Malcolm...I'm maybe forseeing some big brotherly protection in the future? & how funny that Malcolm noticed that the lacing was different! Author's Response: Well, it has been less than two months since Minerva's little rant in Poppy's office, and only a few days since Albus sent his love poem to Minerva -- I just can't write and post that quickly! LOL! And it's actually in chapter 127, not 129 -- the Lumos file length restrictions made me break up a couple of chapters, just as I had to with AAoL. But yeah, the story was the important bit -- I could have written chapter 1 and chapter 127, and we'd have had a nice little PWP, but I felt compelled to add all the stuff in the middle! haha! (Really!) Anyway, it gave me a chance to write the back story that had been swimming about in my mind for so long, particularly Albus's , as well as to explore the question of how would they get together when there were so many differences between them, especially since he was old enough to have been her grandfather back when she was his student! Yet I liked the ship, and my subconscious kept coming up with all these ideas, and you are the beneficiary of the overflow! haha! As for Malcolm, remember his whole Sherlock Holmes thing he did with Gertrude -- he prides himself on being observant and such. heheheh! We'll see how accurate his conclusions were in the next chapter! Thanks, as always, for the review!!! We have two and a half weeks left to the story!

From stefdarlin: "Never know how much I love you Never know how much I care, When you put your arms around me I get a fever that's so hard to bear You give me fever, when you kiss me Fever when you hold me tight. Fever, in the morning, Fever all though the night. Sun lights up the daytime, Moon lights up the night And I light up when you call my name And Oooh I'm gonna treat you right You give me fever When you kiss me Fever when you hold me tight Fever, in the morning Fever all through the night" *giggle* Somehow I couldn't help but have this song by Peggy Lee in my head. I was totally SURPRISED by this chapter. But what a lovely chapter it was dear. I thought it flowed very well with the rest even though I wasn't expecting it...but then, that is what makes you such a wonderful storyteller. =o) Let's just say, I was truely feeling Minerva's sexual frustration. Poor thing, I was glad she mentioned the fact to Albus that she knew she told him she wouldn't press but that she conveyed just how much she desired him. How much she needed him. *shudder* I also liked how you showed the sexual frustration they were both encountering. I must say that I was worried "doopleganger"=o) Albus would resurface when they were having their argument and I felt quite sad when Minerva couldn't kiss him goodbye when he left that morning. But I see he made it up to her with the earrings, sooo sweet. Now what has gotten Malcolm's skivvys(sp?) in a bunch, I wonder, talk about a big brother reaction, hmmm. And I do still worry about the upcoming duel, but I am looking forward to their trip to her parents and the getaway. I wonder if they will ever come to an agreement on where to go? I understand Minerva's desire to just be alone and given how much of their time will be taken during the school year I do believe she is right to want that. But I wonder at Albus' reasoning for choosing the places he did. Oh yeah, one last thing. I got worried when Albus said she cannot get pregnant. I admit, something awful ran through my mind and then I shook my head and kept reading knowing, surely, Albus wouldn't do anything to harm Minerva. But it did distress me that she found it uncomfortable. I am guessing that had something to do with their mated wands and the way their magic compliments each other. Should I worry that he cast a stronger spell than he intended? I still wonder if Minerva ever does/did have any children. Ok, I will go now. Have a very long day tomorrow. Meeting+ work, how lucky am I? Yuck! Thank you soooo much for the update. Da BOMBE!! yep, yep! Cheers! Stef =o) Author's Response: Sorry about the brevity of my reply to your lovely review, but being an old lady, it's past my bedtime, and I'm yawning my head off! Anyhow, no, you needn't worry about the spell. And it didn't have anything to do with their magic or their wands, just that Albus was trying to be very thorough and careful, so he cast it a bit more strongly than he had to. Next time, he'll have it tuned so it will be quite pleasant. We won't see that, however, as it will be after the end of RaM! Yup, only 2 & 1/2 weeks of story-line left! Yay! Er, I mean, how I will miss it! (Actually, I am sure I will miss it, but I'll also be very glad to have the story finished! Rather mixed feelings there.) (BTW, if you've read AAoL, which I'm 99% sure you have, you should be able to guess the answer to your question.) Okay, now I have degenerated to writing in serial parentheticals, so it's time for me to turn out the light! Hope you have a good day, even if it is very busy. TTFN! ("Doopleganger"-Albus is gone for good in RaM. They'll just have their ordinary sorts of disagreements and troubles for the rest of the story.)

From longroot: Well, Malcolm knows. And he managed a smidgen of tact! I liked Albus' reminisce about Dervilia. She sounded loving, loyal and adorable. Also, the whole bodice lacey breasts ahoy thing was great. I feel like an adolescent, but given how refreshingly slow this romance has been unfolding, some bared skin is worth rejoicing!!! Author's Response: Yes, sometimes we forget how nice going slowly can be, don't we? And Dervilia was a sweetie. Malcolm: tact or confusion followed by . . . . *snicker*

From longroot: Oh: and how did Minerva happen to be wearing her prettiest camisole? Lucky, lucky girl. No Bridget Jones giant granny knickers for her!!!!!!! Author's Response: Well, it is the 50s, so no thongs, either -- haha! She likes to wear her pretty camisoles -- she probably doesn't own an ugly one, though some might be more practical than others! hee!
