Great voice giving dimention to Molly.
Author's Response: thanks much :)
Nicely done! It had been a while since I had read a good fic where Molly was in character. You also picked one of the most powerful moments for Motherly!Molly and delivered it quite well. Thanks so much for sharing and writing her so well!
Author's Response: I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. It was a great scene and yes, a great moment for Motherly!Molly
I think this is a lovely ficlet, very canon. Molly's POV was right on the mark.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I was going for canon here, just trying to fill in a bit of the scene and I'm glad that you thought Molly was believable.
Thank you so much for leaving me the feedback, it means a lot.
wow. i really liked that.
Author's Response: I'm so glad that you liked it and thank you for leaving me a review, it does mean so much
This is wonderful and so unerappreciated. You've done a superb job of exploring Molly's complicated and wholly understandable feelings when confronted with the boggart. I'd never before thought about the fact that it was a roomful of men attempting to comfort her. I've often thought she was an underutilized and underappreciated character -- so many seek to use her as a comedic counterpoint, that I think they lose the complexities that this woman would have. Nicely written, Gryff... very nicely written.
Author's Response: Thank you hun. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it and I must say, you leave the best feedback....ever. I wish I could say I'd been observant enough to consider those things before writing it, but it was a great scene to pull from and think about how hard it must be for her to hold it together as the world comes undone around her.
I have always felt that Molly is the closest thing Harry has to a mother figure, and so will become more important later on. You have done a great job of portraying her in a sympathetic and belivable manner.
Author's Response: Thanks a lot. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I think she definitely will become more important later on, especially as you consider her son will be traipsing about with Harry and any unresolved tensions between harry and gin.
Thanks for the feedback.
a very touching and insightful view of what a loving mother feels for her family. I feel is shows her character as well as her strength.
Author's Response: Thank you for the kind comments. I think mother's tend to take on the world at times and they/we all sometimes simply crack. But, inevitably, we find a way to pick up the pieces and go on.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. <3 gryff
This was a wonderful and moving glimpse into Molly's psyche during a key scene for her. I am always amazed at the level of hostility people can still feel for canon Molly even though they've read this particular scene - perhaps fics like this one can shed a little more light on this misunderstood character.
You've done a great job of seamlessly weaving canon-specific and inner dialog together in order to spin the scene out from Molly's P.O.V. It would be an interesting exercise to re-create this scene from all of the players' points of view, wouldn't it? Nicely done!
Not fishing for readers, because I've had plenty for this fic, but you might be interested in "Dawn's Vigil" - another missing scene from canon. We seem to think alike in terms of Molly, and it might be a scene you enjoy.

Thanks for a great read - I really enjoyed it, and will be recommending it to other Molly supporters!
Author's Response: I'm so glad that you enjoyed it and thank you for taking time to leave such a thoughtful review. It's always nice to see that.
It's interesting you mention re-creating the scene from other points of view, because I REALLY want to write it from Arthur's. I realize it might sound like I was a bit hard on him in this fic and that's not the intent.
I started reading Dawn's Vigil before my supervisor came over, I will definately be finishing it up tonight.
Again, thank you for the thoughtful review and what looks like a very promising read!
That was a beautiful tale from Molly's POV. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad someone else is finally writing storied with Molly in them. You really put a wonderful amount of emotion and vision into it. Well written.
Author's Response: I'm very glad that you enjoyed it. I don't write from Molly's POV often but it fit in nicely with the challenge that it was in response to.
Thank you for the feedback!

very nicely done - you managed to keep her in character throughout.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad that she stayed consistent throughout the piece. It was an interesting challenge to write a scene in the first person from a woman's POV talking about something unique to womanhood. I'm so glad that it's being well received.
Thank you for the feedback.
