He was sure that he believed it ;) bittersweet and skillfull, good idea, virtually meaty - but not enough... poor Draco, got trapped under the pretence of thorn-decorating. seriously. it's not about "trust". it shouldn't be about trust. It shouldn't be about firm nipples and elastic, it shouldn't be a harry-ginny-i've just had a bath-you-know-reversed-something (((( it has to be about real connection and deserving, about practical abuse-proof, IMHO. you should have kept it unphysical until he leaves, no matter how. why nobody writes about this option???
Absolutely not my pairing, but masterfully written. You brightened a rather miserable morning for me. Bravo! Cúthalion
I love this.
it just begs to be made into a story of many chapters.
many, MANY chapters
hint hint ;-)
God, that was so excellent! I loved it, beyond words fabulous.
I loved this story very much. Your writings are awsome. But where on earth is the sequel with a happy ending? Its been a year, please write it? I'll preform a review dance myself and write at least two review. Honestly! The truth is, I do not feel that the story lacks anything but the happy ending. Because I actually love open endings too but not in this case. I got too attached emotionally. I want a reassurance that Draco can love his father, be a Malfoy and do the right thing at the same time. Please, please write a sequel? :)
What an incredible story. The tone you strike is strangely enchanting...you capture the lonely, silent feeling of a late night Christmas eve. Your Hermione is wonderful, and I'm so glad you don't take an easy route with Draco. Great stuff!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm especially glad you liked Draco.
Your assumptions make a great deal of sense to me, especially the second one. This is a very touching story. Draco is struggling to hold on to his past yet his future is dangling in front of him. I look forward to watching the next step evolve. I imagine Severus will be involved as well as the phoenix feather Dumbledore? :^)
Author's Response: I'm so pleased you found this story touching, firewall. That makes my day. :)
Wow! This was fabulous. I love Hermione's looks of curiosity, and Draco's inability to figure it out. Yay!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, IEG! I love a perplexed Draco. :)
The best stories leave you wanting more. This was so good -- there are so many avenues where you can continue, hint hint! Anyway, no pressure. Nice to see Draco so human for once.
Author's Response: Thanks, tobydog. I'm really glad you liked Draco. We'll see about a sequel...
A very insightful lttle story. Well down. And while I would love a continuation, leaing it as is make for a wonderful point. I could see thngs working out the way you planned. Thank you.
Author's Response: I'm really glad you enjoyed the story, mugglemom, and I appreciate your thoughts about the end. Thanks!
write another chappie, peazzzz!!!!!!
Author's Response: We'll see! I'm glad you liked the story.
that is so awesome!!! love it! =)
Author's Response: Thanks, starry. I appreciate your kind words, and that you took the time to let me know you liked the story.
What a good story!!!!!!! I think it ended perfectly.. and so well written. This is probably one of my favorite one shots
Author's Response: Thank you, hersar. I'm thrilled you liked the ending, and I'm honored to be a favorite!
Great leaps of cannon, the wards are understandable. Beautiful story I find it almost poster for the Hermione and Draco ship.
Author's Response: Thanks, Phish, for your very generous words. I appreciate them a lot!
I'm not a big Hermione and Draco fan, but this one works. It works really well! Don't stop writing!
Author's Response: Thanks, Mystique. I'm so pleased this story works for you. (Give in to the Draco/Hermione love. ;p ) And thanks for the words of encouragement!
Do the comment dance...what a fabulous story, will he become his own person or follow blindly where his father leads? (i'd follow Lucius blindly, or even blindfolded but that's another story....hee hee) I loved this. the description of the love scene was entirely reminiscent of teen love.
Author's Response: Hee. If the love scene was true-to-teen-life for you, you obviously had a much better teen love-life than I did! Thanks so much for your very lovely words, I'm doind te comment dance as we speak!
Author's Response: Or "doing the comment dance." I need a beta for my responses to reviews!
I'm with the people lobbying for a sequel. This story definately has the potential to develop into one of those addictive tearing my hair out waiting for updates things:-) Please do a sequel and even if your muse refuses to let you, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you write something else.
Author's Response: Lobby away. Maybe a bribe or two would help. ;P I actually have written another D/Hr which I am very close to posting here. Keep an eye out for it in the very near future.
I really liked it, but i was wondering if there was a second part to this story....
Author's Response: I'm very pleased you liked it. No second part, at least for now. Maybe someday...
This is absolutely wonderful! I very much enjoyed this tale and I am hoping that there is possibly more to come or maybe I just haven't found it yet since I am new to the site. Thanks so much for writing such a lovely fic!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. There are no plans for a sequel right now, but that may change. If you want to read other stories, I'll have more up soon, here or at my LJ.
i love it. it's perfect, but it i think it could possibly be even more perfect if you write a sequel. :-) please write more!! (i'm begging!)
Author's Response: Is there something *more* than perfect? ;P Thanks so much for your very sweet words. We'll see about a sequel...
That was well written and a sequel would be lovely....then again, maybe the beauty is in the imagination.
the story was really wonderful.
Author's Response: Aww, thank you. I'm pleased you found some value in not answering every question. It's nice to wonder about things sometimes, I think. Thank you so much for your review! Now I'm all smiley.
you've got to write more!!!!!! PLEASE?!!?!??!?!
Author's Response: If you mean this story, umm... maybe in the future. But I'm revising another longish Draco/Hermione that will be up soon. Thanks so much for reading this one. I'm glad you liked it!
Very good. Sharp, and just a joy to read!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for taking the time to comment.
wow.
Is there more where this came from? Cause I really liked this Draco and Hermione.
Author's Response: Thank you! There is another longish one-shot featuring a smoother Draco and more frustrated Hermione that will be posted here and elsewhere soon. Keep an eye out. I'm very happy you want to read more.
...wow....
that's all i can really say...
are you going to have a continuation of this? or is this just a one-shot? I'm probably going to go comment on your lj now...
Author's Response: I'm very happy you enjoyed this. There are no plans for a sequel now, but Draco has a way of insisiting on being heard.
