I enjoyed reading your story. Thanks for a happy ending.
Author's Response: Thanks. I really like a happy ending too which is why I didn't drag it out any further. I really felt I had done that enough. :)

Loved all seven chapters! You beautifully captured all the torment of loosing a child and the fears of starting over.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. This was a hard story to write, but I'm glad it did. I don't normally care for something so dark, but I am pleased with how this one came out.

intrestign so far, hope to see more.
Author's Response: Thank you for the review. It has been a long time in coming, but there will be more. It has been submitted, the last chapter, but with latest archive announcement, I'm not sure when it will get validated.

I love how you present them as an ordinary couple, undergoing this terrible situation. It's really tender.
Author's Response: Thanks. I thought it would be a different approach to what folks normally think about the Malfoys. But I have found that sometimes behind the mask shown the public, everyone is ordinary. I'm glad you found it realistic.

This is an unexpected sie of the Malfoy family, but very plesent. I am not surprised that Lucius turned sides when it was obvious which way the wind was blowing, it seems very much in character. I was pleased to see him realise that family is important, and realised that he made serious parenting errors. Hopefully, he truely learned from his mistakes.
Author's Response: Thanks. I enjoy this story for showing the Malfoys and how different the two of them actually are. I do think that Lucius really has learned a lot, though I'm sure that patience is not one of the things he has learned. LOL I'm trying to get another chapter up before Christmas, but we'll see.

I think you're doing a wonderful job expressing the sorrow of losing a child and trying to rebuild their lives. I like how you switch viewpoints from Lucius and Narcissa. I'm looking forward to reading more.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I've seen from my grandparents how hard that is and drew upon that. I liked the changing viewpoints because you do get some more insight into the two characters and how utterly different they are. I hope to start work on the new chapter today. :D
Oh, good, Lucius is starting to realize what he's up against....and it's his fault! Why, the slimy, no-good...did she even *know* that her babies were being aborted, or did she think something was just wrong with her?
Author's Response: Oh, yes, Lucius was very much a bastard towards her in his younger days. And of course, being Slytherin, she had no idea that he was to blame. Of course, it's not really something he can apologize for now, is it? It's a bitch how the past comes to bite you, isn't it?
I REALLY LIKE THIS STORY & IT GETS BETTER WITH EVERY CHAPTER I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE
Author's Response: Thanks, Hannah. I am working on the next one and hope to have it submitted shortly. This is a story that goes relatively quickly when I find the time to work on it. :D
Of course Lucius would've dawned on that subject. I am kind of angry with him while his son just died and his wife is no state to even stop crying he thinks about the Malfoys' name. But I stil got to love him.
Author's Response: Ah, Lucius, where would we be if he was not always thinking about preserving the family name. LOL His priorities are obviously quite different from poor Narcissa's. Hopefully the two of them will find a meeting place in the middle of their priorites. This Lucius is far different from any of the others I have written. I like looking at different sides of a character.
So sad. Lucius cried!
Author's Response: I like this fic because I get a chance to explore a different side of Lucius. Normally we see his cold public persona, and at home he really doesn't seem to love his family, only see them as a necessity. I thought it would be nice to show him as a man who really loves his family. Show him as human, if you will.
Narcissa probably already knows Lucius needs another heir.
Author's Response: Oh, yes, she is aware of it, but her grief won't really let her come to terms with that fact. :)
that would be bad if they lost Draco
Author's Response: It really would. I don't know why I'm in such a dark mood, but there you have it. I think I will write more to this, but I just don't know how much more. I need to outline that.
