Gee, I think you and the friends you cite will make LM/HG my *second* fave Potterverse fanship (with HG/SS being my Numero Uno). Frankly, I don't understand why there's more HG/DM than Hermione/Lucius; I guess I just prefer to read her 'shipped w/sexy older guys like Lucius & Severus. I really don't think any guy around her age, wizard or Muggle, is her match.

I love I love I love it!!! omg. perfect ending but I'm not sure if I ever really wanted it to end I hope there is a sequel. you did a really good job carrying on this story.
Author's Response: Thanks, Love. I was trying to decide how to handle the epilogue. Jumping ahead in time can make things difficult, but I think it was exactly what was needed in this case to wrap everything up without drawing it up. :) I may do some short filler fics, that also stand alone, we'll see. As for the sequel, it would be set several years in the future. More possiblities. I, too, was sad to see it end. Thanks for reviewing.

Ok, I suppose the Lethifold thing won't be discovered for a few more months.
I don't remember - is Draco still alive? I think my favorite part of HG/LM pairings is Draco having to suck it up and get Hermione as a stepmom.
Author's Response: Yup, Lethifold research was done after the war was over. I like the idea of Draco having Hermione as a step-mother, but that won't be happening in this one as Draco was killed for his failure, that started the chain of events leading to Lucius' redemption. :)

It's sad they have to kill the child - but I suppose it would be pretty awkward to begin their marriage with a grown child and instrument of Darkness in the household :o)
Author's Response: Well, Lucius may not know all of it, but he has to know that it likely deals with the downfall of the Dark Lord or else it wouldn't have been so important, and I assume that Ron and Harry can't keep a secret to save their lives. LOL...As for the child, you brought up some very valid points on needs for her demise. It actually give me a little reason to laugh as the idea. LOL

Author's Response: LOL I am working on the epilogue. It hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be, but while on our trip this weekend, I had some good ideas about what I want to do with it. :) Hopefully it will be up by the end of the week.

Wow - have just discovered this story and have spent my evening absolutely enthralled! Have always been a closet Luciuis fan (if I am totally honest it dates back to seeing Jason Isaacs in the role......) and I feel this story develops a realistic personality for Lucius without forsaking his arrogance and sense of superior breeding - I have enjoyed reading him battle with himself. Also, good to see someone who knows U2's early work - thought I was one of the only people who loved Drowning Man! Well done Phoenix - you have a wonderful talent - thanks for sharing it with us!
Author's Response: LOL Thanks, selina. I know I've gotten into stories and just had to read right through them. I was intrigued by Lucius before Jason Isaacs was cast and boy did that make it even better. I'm glad you like the character developemnt. It was kind of hard to do since a lot of people have their view and my view doesn't always work with other people's. I like hte development of his character. *wink*
On the U2 note, I'm a huge fan of their earlier work.
