LOL, I loved it :D. I usually don't like stories where my favorite character is in pain but this was absolutely HILARIOUS! He actually found what he wanted! It reminds me of when my third grade teacher was getting these major cravings and she was like "must have...JELLY DONUT!" Yep, a jelly donut ~^.^~. I get cravings like that too, sometimes for jelly donuts, mostly for meat which stinks because I'm vegetarian >.< Lol. Again, must say I LOVED IT!!!

Author's Response: Thanks. I've been pondering a sequel, but I haven't been able to make it work so far. Lupin's a great character to try to work with, though, so I'm probably going to be visiting him again pretty soon. =)

I think my brain is bleeding, and I mean that in the best possible way. I have, at this point, significantly startled my cat by yelling "WTF!?" several times, while reading this story. Congratulations. I heartily approve.

That scene with the house elves nearly had me wetting my pants. (Although I must add that in 1996/1997 I don't think many Britney songs would have been considered old) This was sheer genius!

I have to say I truly enjoyed this. I promptly linked my friends. "And then, Lupin had an idea verging on pure genius. “Canada! Of course! I’ll go to Canada! They’re famous for their doughnut shops! It’s practically part of their culture, right?” Genius.

Okay...so here I am at past 3:00 in the A.M...I just can't sleep, and So, I come across this particular story and start reading. All of a sudden, my cat, (whose disposition makes Snape look like Ghandi) jumps up in my lap and calmly lies down...(er...that never happens, at least in this lifetime). It's dead quiet in the house, and I am reading along about...what?...jelly doughnuts? huh? I get to the part about the house elves beating themselves up and make the rather unfortunate mistake of suddenly BURSTING OUT Laughing. Startled into a terror reaction, the Cougar sleeping in my lap, promptly skewers my thighs with All 500 razor-sharp claws at the same moment the cup of freshly brewed tea and honey I was holding 4" above her head, falls from my grasp in a drenching cascade of Hot and Sticky! She screams, I scream, and we both fly up from the chair and hit the floor...and as I lie there, I hear a sudden, dull thud as she slams into the wooden leg of the couch, desperately seeking a hidey hole. Um...do you suppose large, carefully-grown dust bunnies would stick to a long-haired cat sopping wet with honey...? (sigh...) Where was I? Oh yeah...Great Story...Very Funny. I would expound on that, but I believe I am, at the moment, in greater need of a dry nightie and some antiseptic for my wounds. In the morning I will try my best to lure my frightened feline out from under the divan...maybe I should use a Jelly-Filled Doughnut!!!

Author's Response: Er...please don't sue. ;) Sorry about your cat; I've had plenty of experience trying to clean sticky stuff out of my own cats' fur (two of them are long-haired, and the other is short-haired but tends to get into a lot of things that he probably shouldn't.) Thanks for the review, and thanks for a much-needed laugh as well (because there is a certain amount of humour in your description of the situation, you see). I hope your cat has forgiven you by now, too, seeing as so much time has elapsed between your review and my response. =)

Author's Response: Poor Lupin indeed. But he got what he wanted in the end, didn't he? =) Thanks for the review, by the way.

I still enjoy this silly little story. Lupin and jelly doughnuts...genius.

Author's Response: Not genius...just my odd sense of humour at work. Glad to hear that you still enjoy it, though. =)

Your story despite how silly it was, was very quite impresive. It made me laugh very much, good job and thx for the laugh, loved every part of it.:-D

Author's Response: Thank you. It's nice to know that other people can enjoy my somewhat skewed sense of humour. =)

That was absolutely brilliant! A much needed dose of silliness. When I went to collect my letters just before, my neighbour asked me if I was OK because I was howling so much during the telegram scene... I can totally understand the food cravings - but its usually for chocolate for me...

Author's Response: It's usually chocolate for me, too...though in the winter, for some reason, it's more likely to be licorice. Thanks for the review. =)

Thank you for that, it gave me a much needed laugh. Now I am totally craving a 'jelly' doughnut. Damn you! I didn't even get annoyed that you called them that (It would be called a jam doughnut in Brit-land, but I wouldn't worry about it!). I should venture into Wolfsbane more often!

Author's Response: Whoops, my mistake...please forgive the ignorant Canadian. =)

darling, that was absolutely brilliant.! i can completely understand Remus' NEED for a jelly doughnut, and no one makes them quite like Timmie's lovely little bit of quirkiness!

Author's Response: Thanks--that's the benefit of a strange mind. =) And what better doughnut shop chain for a Canadian to mention than Timmie's? =)
