This is canon worthy. Good job pointing out that when the wizarding world was celebrating, Remus had lost everyone he loved (Harry being hidden for the next eleven years), and as far as the Order was concerned, well, he wasn't part of it at the time, was he? So, yes, Madam P. would have been the one constant in his life. (Even Gwen probably didn't know he was a werewolf, or might have ended the relationship when she found out. And I like how you back-storied his parents.)
