Wow... guess everyone was a kid once! Interesting idea for a story.
Author's Response: Thanks! I saw the plot bunny on the forums and just had to give it a go.
How delightful! To have taken that one phrase, "trying to raise werewolf cubs under his bed,' and making a story out of it! The story explains too, why Fenir Greyback lacks social skills, like grooming; why he doesn't have a wand; why he is a snarling loser when he tries to be an alpha male in DH; and why he is not accepted in any society. His meeting Tom Riddle in this story is totally plausible. I kept tripping over the "week", that a were-wolf would stay transformed for more than 12 hours, but everything else was great. I like, too, how you illustrated Hagrid's wrestling with trolls. And your description of young Tom Riddle was spot on!
Author's Response: Thank you! So glad you liked it. Re: the "week" - I think I had the idea that he would only tranform in the moonlight, then back in the day, but that he was used to staying away from people during that week - having been locked for the week in the cellar by abusive parents. Probably they'd have thrown food down there like Petunia in "Chamber", but I thought that he would only stop feeling really ill, and be able to do stuff, at the end of the week, despite transforming back and forth during that week.
