What a perfect couple, and a perfect ending! Thank you for sharing this story with us! It just made my evening reading it, I've been grinning away for hours now! :-D
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind reviews, indigo_rose. I loved writing Luna/Snape (as long as she's not still at school). It's only the second time I've done so, but it's a pairing I suspect I'll come back to. Thanks again. Scaranda
Oh, dear. A jealous Snape is a dangerous one... I hope Septima doesn't decide to try her luck at asking him again, she may not survive the backlash!
Busted! And by just about everyone but Harry, Ron and Hermione! Just sail serenely onward Severus, the way Luna does, and let it all roll off your back... I hope the two of them go public with the Snorkacks, so that the others can eat their words.
I shudder to think of what the Hogwarts staff room gossip will be like now! Hee hee hee...
I continue to love this story! I can't even leave a decent review this time, I must rush to the next chapter and find out what happened! :-D
Severus is doomed. There's simply no way around it. He won't give up without a fight, and watching the struggle is half the fun, but he's still doomed. Luna will win.
Uh oh...! I think Severus and Luna are going to be having a little talk in the very near future! Again. But maybe Arabella Figg will actually get an Order of Merlin out of the whole thing, so it will be worth it!
The staff gossip is one of the best parts of this story! And Arabella Figg knocking Lucius Malfoy out cold with a string bag full of cat food was hilarious! That image will stay with me for quite some time... :-D I absolutely must add this story to my Favorites list. I haven't had this much fun reading a fanfic in ages!
This is such an enjoyable story to read. I think my favorite line for this chapter was: He had been in Minerva’s private rooms on many past occasions, when they had contained a pleasingly eclectic mixture of not too feminine knickknacks, which looked as though they had been placed where they rested with the precision of a Knockturn Alley drug dealer. I almost snorted soda out my nostrils when I read that! I have a sinking suspicion that this may describe my computer room here at home.
Love the personalities and interactions of the male and female staff members amongst each other! I especially enjoyed Minerva's thoughts on the rest of the female faculty, the women whose opinions she valued as highly as own, those from whom she sought advice before presenting the male staff members with faits accomplis, couched in ways that would lead them to believe they had had some say in matters. How funny! How many of the men do they actually fool, though? Look forward to see how the betting pool pans out--I hope Lupin bet on a good long time in order to win the pot!
I absolutely love Luna! She's one of my favorite characters in the HP universe, and I'm glad she's getting to shine here. Her apparent tangents that she goes off on serve to confuse others, while she blithely gets what she wanted all along! Her ability to see to the heart of things--and people--should serve her well in dealing with Severus. Must fly to the next chapter to see what happens next!
This was fun! Of course, any story involving Luna will have to be a bit quirky...
I enjoyed seeing how Luna manipulated everyone, especially Severus. Wonderful job!
Thank you again for this one - really enjoyed the delightful mixture of poignancy and humour (I'll admit it now - I was worried in the chapter when Severus saw Lupin and Luna seemingly holding hands in an intimate way...had to take a few deep breaths). Beautiful reflection of Minerva's described...Thanks again!
Really am enjoying this - Severus and Luna! Your detailed characterisation, dialogue, humour, etc. is really wonderful. The staff room personalities are so delectable! Thank you! nagandsev
Author's Response: Thanks, nagandsev, glad you're enjoying it. I always wanted to give people like Binns and Sprout a mention, without sticking them in some ludicrous pairing. Hope you enjoy the rest. Scar
Yeah! A Luna and Severus story - thank you! As they're both so brilliant and intriguing in their own unique ways - really enjoy their paths crossing - looking forward to more -please!
Author's Response: Thanks for that, nagandsev. They're fun to write too. Next chapter up. Hope you enjoy it. Scaranda
