this is a really nice story :) i really enjoy reading it. i hope you keep it up. it is sooo good. can't wait for the next update.
Yippee! An update! I am glad to see you're still writing. I know it can be difficult when you don't see a lot of reviews.
I'm not sure what I think about the house change. I'm sure it must be necessary for your plot, and Luna certainly has no ties to people in Ravenclaw, but I don't see her cunning as her main quality. She just seems too open for that. I would hate to see that quality of hers change. I'll trust you, though, I'm sure you know where you're going. :)
Also...were there just several chapters posted at once? If not, and I missed a few, I'm sorry. I would have reviewed them all instead of just ones at the end. I know how valued the feedback is from the days when I used to have time to submit stories.
I just found this website and this story and you have no idea how happy I am to see that it is a current story! I would have been so disappointed if it was an unfinished story from years gone by.
When I started reading, I was skeptical. How could a Draco/Luna pairing possibly make sense. But, here, it does. His desire to protect her and to behave in a way that makes her look at him with trust is not only believable and true to his character, but unbearably sweet. Her honesty and willingness to trust, paired with the fact that she has a better sense of self preservation than we think she does in canon, is terrific.
I can't wait to see where you are going next!
Wow, what an interesting premise and a unexpected pairing. Luna has depths to her that were barely explored in canon; Draco with his ingrained sense of superiority is no doubt in a big surprise. And may I compliment you on Snape's dialogue? Snape, with his self-imposed detachment from most of humanity, speaks in a haughty and precise way. But so many writers cramp his sentences with long, convoluted, Dickensian phrases, which perversely make him sound like he's working hard to impress people.
This next chapter is so crucial, I have to get it right..... As soon as I can I will have it up for you!
Oh my, poor Luna. Thank goodness, that Draco found her at the right moment. Phew.
It was a very intense chapter, and with a cliffie at the end. ;) Please update soon, I am worried for Luna.
Ahh, that is such a brilliant romance. It's slow paced yet incredibly hot and emotionally charged. I just love it. And, once again, I just love how you write Luna. Perfect!
Thank you so much for updating.
Just as I promised, leaving a review here after TPP. As a fanfic writer myself, I can imagine that lack of reviews could be disappointing. But, this story is unique and excellent in many ways. I love your Luna. Please, please update. Savva.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Your messages are so awesome and encouraging. It's true, I was a little bewildered by the lack of feedback. But I have more written! The folks here are so great about posting my work so quickly. I just don't want one site to get too far ahead of the other and TPP is a big machine. Getting posted through them takes a good bit longer. But more soon, I hope you stay with me. Thanks.
Very good start! Everyone loves Luna; the pairing with Draco (who's fighting back as hard as he can) looks as if it'll develop in an interesting way. Can't wait to see what happens when he tries to see her mind! :-)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm having a lot of fun with this story. I hope you enjoy the way it unfolds.
