I liked this, it was a plausible backstory for the characters. Your canon assessments are correct; we have no knowledge of Andromeda Black's house. In the RP I used to do we had her in Ravenclaw, so I tend to think of her that way but it certainly isn't canon. And Ted is indeed a Muggleborn.
