This is definitely one of the best stories I've read. I loved Martha and Zara; I liked the way their backstories are consistent with canon, and they're both such sympathetic characters. I wish this really was Tom Riddle's back-story (well, 'real' as in canon), which is the highest praise I can give it. Congratulations on your prize - you really deserved it.
I'm a bit disturbed that you even thought of this, and even more disturbed that it's as good as it is, but it's perfect. Especially the way Tonks propositions Snape, and the title - I'll certainly never be able to watch that film again without giggling :-) Nice job!
Author's Response: LOL I was watching the movie at the time I wrote this... I've always had a perverted disney streak.
*falls about laughing* This is perfect! And I can just see it happening, too. Oh, and I liked your bemused normal!un-vampired!Quirrell :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I had a blast writing it. I enjoy messing with Quirrell. This story is a prequel pre-Voldie. Two or three years later is when "The Merlin", chapter 2 takes place; after he's met Voldie, and before he's forced to wear the turban.
