I've read much of your Hermione/Severus, of course, but I was looking at your archive links over on your LJ and decided to give some of your other stories a try. Lucky me! I never would have imagined pairing Severus and Luna, but wow--that was breathtaking! I especially love his confusion over the whole darn thing; it appears Luna would have been his last guess as well.
A fascinating look at the other, good half of the Black family. I can easily believe that this is how Tonks' parents began their courtship. Little Dora was perfect. And excellent job introducing The young Sirius is a proper rogue, and I love your conclusion with Remus--very subtle!
Ah, I loved this fic so much! I hated how in HBP Ron takes Hermione for granted and she still wants him. I like how you made Harry also realize how blind he's been. I know how it's turned out in canon, but I'd have loved to have seen it go this way!
This would have made an excellent beginning to book 6. I enjoyed reading it very much!
Awww, this is so sweet. I was looking for some Minerva stories and just happened to find this--how lucky of me! I really enjoyed how you had Albus make the move rather than Minerva the second time around. It just really brought things full circle for me.
Author's Response: I have lots of Minerva stories, but most of them are on Occlumency because they involve Snape. Thanks for reviewing. I'm glad you liked the story. :)
I'm soooo curious! You do such a beautiful job of building suspense. I can't wait to see your next update!
Author's Response: *grins* Ah, suspense is such a fun tool, isn't it? I'm so glad that I've wielded it well! I'm working on the update right now, so I'll post it soon!
I'm sitting here weeping. What an incredibly sad and powerful story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm very glad people seem to like this one.
Oh, now I'm in such suspense! I can't wait to see how their meeting works out.
Anyway, this chapter was lovely. The interactions between Minerva and her mentor strike me as so natural and right. I do hope that they resolve their differences in the present very soon!
Author's Response: I am glad you enjoyed this chapter. I think their mentoring relationship was nice, myself, so I'm glad you like it.
Their current differences will be addressed soon!
Minerva on a mission to save Albus--I just love all the history between these two that you've given us!
Author's Response: Thank you! There's more history to come!
You know, you really make me like Albus Dumbledore in a way I haven't for a long time ('cause I've been reading too many evil!DD stories, lol). I like that you've made him so complex in this story--rather than the omniscient headmaster we see in JKR's story, he's a normal man with extraordinary abilities, but normal all the same. I esp. like his vulnerability when thinking about Minerva, but it's also really nice in this chapter, too, because it helps us see how he inspires such loyalty and love. Thanks for another exciting chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm especially glad you like my Albus. JKR only gives us a narrow perspective on Albus, but I think there are hints of his complexity throughout the books. And as your review indicated, he inspires loyalty and love -- difficult to do if you're the evil!DD some stories like to portray.
Thanks very much for reviewing!

Yikes! Things are pretty darn complicated in both the past and the present! I look forward to your next chapter to see how this turns out!
Author's Response: Things will rarely be simple in this fic. But I guess if they were, there wouldn't be a story!
Oh, I totally missed this chapter! (I'm so glad I thought to look back just in case.) This one has me crying still, esp. those beautiful letters and the mention of him meeting his gram again. A beautifully written, but terribly sad chapter!
Author's Response: I'm updating pretty frequently, so it's probably a good idea to note which chapter you last read so that you can make sure you didn't miss one! I'm glad you looked back and found this one. (You might want to skim the chapter summaries on the story's main page and make sure you've caught all of them. *grin*)
It is a sad chapter -- it even made me sad! I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you for reviewing!
Oh, you are updating quick! Yes, I'll be sure to keep better track of the chapters now.
Anyway, I really like this chapter for showing what a capable woman Minerva is. I also appreciate those little peeks into Albus' mind that hint at how strongly he feels for her already.
Author's Response: Thanks! It's been fun writing Minerva at different stages of her life. Glad you liked the chapter! Thanks for the review. :-)
Yay! That was so worth that wait! I love seeing DD so nervous and chatty; it's nice to see him a little off-balance for once. And I thought McGonagall's response was so honest and believable. An awesome chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! Glad you felt it was worth the wait. *grin* Hope you lkie the next one, as well!
Thank you for reviewing!
What a sweet chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks!
There both in such denial about the feelings of the other, aren't they? Minerva's been smitten all along, and Albus just needed the chance to see her as an adult. But they both think so highly of the other that they can't imagine the other wanting them! Poor Minerva and Albus!
Author's Response: Yes, you've got it right. But they each have a chance now to take off their blinders and see how the other feels.
Thanks very much for reviewing!
Noooooooo! A cliffhanger! And a very effective one, too! But, really, this last was such an excellent chapter. It's nice to know you're definitely NOT in the evil!McGonagall camp, lol.
Author's Response: No, you are right, I'm *definitely* NOT in the evil!McGonagall camp! Glad you liked the cliffie! *grin* I give those stories a miss, as they say!
Thanks for the review!
This is such a moving (and realistic!) look at how things might have been. I really like seeing this Petunia and Dudley interact with Harry, and how cool that you've brought in Remus! Can't wait to see more!
Author's Response: Thank you :)
